Where to find honest product reviews?

I am in the process of setting up an affiliate product review site and would like to know where can I find honest product reviews, which tell the pros and cons of a product and is not some phoney product review or youtube video which ends up promoting someone elses affiliate product?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    The best product reviews are you own. It lends far more credibility to do so.

    The problem is its hard to find neutral reviews like this for IM products,..what is more common is the Wealthy Affiliate model where Kyle bashes various companies (while promoting his own, and his members follow suit.

    Imo it makes them all appear like morons (the revs all look the same, rehashed), especially because they've obviously not tried the product so its all second and third hand info. How can they legitimately review (let alone bash it?)

    If you can find truly factual, neutral info on the products and then let people decide from there whether its for them or not, that kind of review can be helpful. I haven't seen it yet if its out there. Maybe start it yourself if thats possible- i.e. compile as much data as possible and see if its enough to provide to save others the legwork.

    I have found that many people actually don't want HONEST reviews. I have done reviews of products and had some negatives to say (in terms of how it's put together, etc) which could easily be fixed but it seems people don't want to do that.
