My experience with Creative Post...

Like most people, I am looking for a way to post ads on Craigslist in several cities without getting flagged, and thought I might have found a solution with Creative Post. Unfortunately my experience so far has been very disappointing.

I downloaded the software, watched the videos, joined the private group and bought HMA. The videos are very general and do not go into detail about what needs to be done in order to post successfully. When you submit a ticket to support, you get a really general response back to your question and not an solution to your specific issue. Since I did not get a good response to my question from support, I tried to get help from the private group, hoping that one of the fellow members could help resolve the issue. What happened when I posted my question to the group? My question was deleted, and I was removed from the group.

Based on the posts in the private group, this seems to be the experience of many others as well. Needless to say, you shouldn't present a product until you can properly support it.

I am holding out hope that they get their stuff in order and support their product correctly. I would love to use this product if it works and I can get the help I need when I have a question, but as of right now I am leaning toward a refund.

What was the nature of your question that it resulted in your removal?

We've tried many of the Craigslist posting software options and found them to be restrictive either in the sense of being capped on daily posts or experiencing problems with distorted image ads. That doesn't even include the issues with the software not being properly updated to accommodate the frequent Craigslist updates. In the end, not having proper support trumps all those issues. That is why we post every ad manually and offer full live pulse support 7 days per week. You can have the best product/service since sliced bread, but without the proper genuine quality support, none of that matters.

Do you have any recommendations on software to post on craigslist?

For all the reasons I cited above, no software recommendations. We have chosen to post manually and its served us well.

Yeah, I requested and received a refund for Creative Post. And, I've added Guilliermo and Derby to my list of DO NOT BUY. I will also now be unsubscribing from anyone that sends me an affiliate offer for one of their products.

I too bought the upsell to the software and group. I was SHOCKED at the kind of questions that got deleted. It was literally everything that wasn't a testimonial for the software -- of which there were very few, other than puff ones that were not based on actual success with it.

G & D did not participate in ANY of the discussions. The only posts I found from them were reminders that this is not a support group and that support questions should go to the ticket system.

The training was ridiculously inadequate and nearly everyone who tried to use the software got their CL ad ghosted.

The proxy company they recommend canceled all account sold through G&D and replied, "We don't want to work with these guys."

The only people I saw who got their ads posted and not ghosted followed a pretty manual process.

Most people that posted their experiences pointed out that they could not find any way to auto post or bulk post. And, there questions about how to do what the sales letter made sound easy went unanswered and their posts got deleted.

Then G&D had the audacity to use that group to announce their next big software offering. Good grief.

There were plenty of people who shouted their warnings in the sales thread. They, too, got deleted. I felt those posts were so over the top that there must be personal animosity and that it wasn't about the product. I was wrong.

I can't believe these guys are still in business and I'm baffled as to why anyone would risk their reputation by recommending their products.

Pretty much sums up my experience and I am sure the experience of many others. Kind of hard to have a "mastermind" group when you can't even get the software to work...lol. The only thing that they did right was to refund my money within 24 hours of requesting it. I will stay far far away from any products these guys have to offer.

I had a similar experience to you guys. At the very least it looks like you got the so called software (Creative Post Craigslist Auto Posting Software). I never received it and tried countless times to get the "wanna be" support to guide me as to where I could find the software. Since nobody ever got back to me via forums or emails, I decided to call the company 800 number. Again, nobody answered. Then I called the 347-772-7923 on the website and Guillermo answered. He said I needed to open a ticket because he had no clue what to do to help me. I opened several tickets with no response. That's when I got fed up and tried to resolve the issue via Paypal since that's how I purchased the software. I was merely trying to get the software and next thing I know I get an email from Guillermo Mata saying that I'm blacklisted and banned and that I was refunded. There was no attempt to help me get the software or anything to try to resolve things in an amicable way. I'm not sure if they have too much going on or if he's just a very sophisticated scam artist. I feel he's the latter.

The reason I'm going out of my way to mention all this is because I wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out and trying to contact them to find that they're not what they claim to be. All I get is tons of emails trying to get me to buy other marketing products and webinars, etc. They are spamming my email to death!

They need to be exposed. I ran into this forum because I was trying to find info on whether I was wrong or if it was a scam. It's looking like a scam.

I hope this post helps other in their decision making process. I wish I would have searched and found this forum before I wasted so much time with Guillermo Mata and his products.

I couldn't agree more with you guys on Creative Post. I purchased it on a whim since I am always looking for a reliable posting software. When I saw that they were promoting live links and HTML code as features I should have dropped it then and there...everyone knows that CL put a stop to live links (except in the paid section) and most HTML in posts back in 2013 so that was an immediate red flag. I have been watching their G+ group and it's disgusting how many posts from their customers get deleted, you are right on the money when saying anything that isnt a good product reviews gets flagged. Their software is a complete joke and I could hardly consider it automated. Currently I use CLAD Genius and have been using it for the last couple years with great success. Yes it's expensive and it comes with a really sharp learning curve, but when I am able to post 300 ads a day on average and on autopilot I don't mind paying a premium price. Plus CLADs been around for almost 6 years and is still updated at least twice a week. Fair warning, if you are thinking about investing in Creative Post, Don't. It is a complete waste of hard earned money.

BTW, I've not used, but have heard very good things about a posting software/service called CLAD. It's pretty expensive though. I don't have a link. Google it.
