What's left to know about Russel Brunson's Micro Continuity?

SO I've watched Russel's video(s) about Micro Continuity, opted in to his list, read Joy @ StartAPreschool.com's report that describes her experience... report reads very clean! (I can't help but wonder how much of that is Joy's original, unedited, words...)

From what I can see, I like Russel and his system seems great... problem is - I ALREADY KNOW IT, DON'T I?

1) send traffic to squeeze page offering 1 secret
2) reveal the secret + sell 'free CD' + sign people up for micro-continuity...

I'm curious to know from those who purchased the first time what the "meat" of the course is about-- is it all about how to create an effective squeeze page, write compelling copy, how create a compelling 'free CD' blah blah blah?

I'm just trying to imagine what's left for the course to teach?

If I am not mistaken, Russell's Micro Continuity is more than a course - he has templates, tools and software to help build your micro continuity sites.

I saw him speak at an event last month and that's what I seem to recall. I don't own it, so don't hold me to that

Think about it this way: What's more important when making an absolutely delicious meal, knowing what meat is used, or knowing what all of the spices are, how much of them to use, and what sides to serve with it?

It's true that you probably already know the "meat" of the methodology. But until you know all of the finer points, do you really know how to make it special and make everyone want it?

Just an analogy that might help you make your decision.

If you are an international resident and have tried to order, forget it: the order form does not reset to allow the full information for the credit card to be validated. Slight oversight!

I just signed up for his free ipod shuffle giveaway ($9 shipping) that includes preloaded 6 hours of his micro continuity program. I couldnt pass up the offer for a 50 ipod for 9 bucks plus the free info!

This is the first I have heard of his program or him for that matter. Would love to hear what others have to say about his program for newbies.

I'm pretty sure they're not actually real iPods. If you read the material, he never mentions a brand. They're knock-offs from Asia.

That being said, the material on them is still worth WAY more than the $9.97 shipping you have to pay. Russell is the only "guru" I'll ever listen to. He's the real deal.

I also had the feeling I knew much of it, but for 9 bucks I'm very happy with the purchase. We'll see how I feel about it when the content actually arrives.

haha... thats probably true and what I was thinking. But figured that the picks are all of ipod shuffles and didnt think he would use an illegal copy of an ipod for his giveaway. Im not a lawyer or trademark expert, but assume that if someone make an mp3 that looks exactly like the ipod shuffle then that would be illegal. But again I am new to the internet marketing game. I wouldnt use a pic of something that I wanst giving away or at least make it known that it is not the product in the picture being given away. Or at least make it known that the product is not an apple or ipod shuffle. But then again that is just me.

But I am still happy to get the content for 9 bucks and cant wait to dig into it.

I've been looking into this and I don't see where one could get cheap knock-off MP3 players like the ones Russell is promoting for anything less than $8/each. With shipping costs where they are now, I don't know how $9.97 would cover all of Russell's costs for this. If it weren't for the forced continuity and OTO's, I don't know how Russell could make money off an offer like this (which is probably the whole point, right?)

I agree that the content on the MP3 player is probably worth WAY more than he is charging. I am tempted to stick around the first month just to see how what he's doing...

Oh, and I saw on the Microcontinuity Blog that Russell's team has set up a phone number for international orders to call if they experience difficulties with the online form... Not ideal, but at least it's a solution.

That's the main way he'll recoup his money... and a lot more.

Let's say is total is $5 overall per MP3 player, plus $27 he pays affilates who get people to get one, times 2000 = $64 000 overall.

In a business like his that can give him close to a million over 12 months, that'd be consider chump change in any offline business. It seems we in the IM world are more on the lookout for free methods than in the so called "real world".

A $120 000 business set up - web design, customer service AND including promo - that will give him 10 times more makes total sense.

How is he going to make money? Your $9 MP3 player is tied into a $97 a month continuity program that lasts for 6 months. It looks to me like he will pocket just short of 6 bills on the deal, unless of course you cancel.

I think he has put together a strong offer. Very nicely done.
