WP Customer Services, any experiences?

Hi everyone,

Just read about the WP Customer Reviews plugin on Neil Patel's blog. It basically makes it easy for people to leave reviews on your blog, also giving Google an idea of how people rate your blog posts.

My question is this: does anyone have any bad experiences with this? I mean, competition can troll the hell out of you, giving you one star reviews. Also, your first reviews might screw up a lot for you.

Looking forward to hear about your ideas, opinions and especially your experience with this kind of thing.

Cheers,
Steve

EDIT: I meant the 'WP Customer Reviews' plugin, no idea how I came up with the 'service' part ^^

Good thread, I run about 40 or so wordpress websites, most of the time comments are attempts at spam, however I can see how an authority website can generate some SEO value in comments, I think the key word there is authority, which is something that the average website just does not have.

There is some value in comments, however most of the time, the comments that are left are done by bots and usually have little in common with the website and more often involve promotion of products that you would never approve.

Valid and genuine comments are of some worth, keeping the bad comments out now that is something that is a real challenge.
