I've been burned so many times in the past. Internet Marketing scripts that claim to be super easy to use. That claim to deliver the earth. When in reality all you get is headaches and missing functionality.
I'd sworn off using off the shelf stuff. It's too much hassle. I'd reached the point where I'd much rather invest more of my time creating my own systems from scratch. It's quicker and so much less stressful than trying to get off the shelf stuff to work (and I'm an uber techie geeky type). Last night I did some work for a client setting up Rapid Action Profits for him. I really wasn't looking forward to it. I was expecting it to be the same merry-go-round of disappointments and irritation. I was wrong. It is by far and away the best software of it's type I've ever used. I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I'm not chucking my affiliate link in here or anything like that. I just wanted to share my absolute joy with you guys and encourage any techie types who have also sworn off such systems to give it a go. |

Wow Andy,

I'm glad you had a positive experience. We're constantly working to improve RAP, and I constantly interact with existing customers for new feature suggestions. There's an upgrade coming very soon, with even more features in the core product, and the add on developers are keeping me busy with certification of even more special functionality. Honestly, I don't know of a better way to do business than to listen to your customers and do everything possible to deliver what they're looking for.

I definitely endorse the comments of Andy and Sid above.
And it seems that more and more affiliates are now looking to promote RAP products because of the instant commission structure. It's a win-win. ![]() Frank |

We were thinking about purchasing this software. We offer ongoing services to our clients and thought this would be a good way to manage them, as well as streamline our affiliate program.
I was just curious...we already have sales pages written with paypal subscription buttons. Can those current buttons be integrated with this program? Meaning, can an individual be taken to a membership sign-up page with a monthly fee that is based on the cost of that particular service? And if they are on a different sales page, that link would go to a different level of membership, based on the price on THAT page? Would an affiliate program work with this type of setup? Thanks all... |

Hi Ted,

However, you mention a membership with recurring payments. To do that, you also need a membership system that works with RAP. One solution is the Add On from RAP extras, and you can get a small discount on the combination (core RAP and RAP Members Plus Add On) at RAP / Member Plus. If you use a different membership system, you will still need the Paypal Subcriptions Add On to handle recurring payments. That's a separate purchase. Hope that helps,

Just wanted to add that I am a long-time RAP fan too. I have numerous products
set up for sale using the system. Affiliates LOVE the instant payments and it cuts down on your need to manage that portion of it. Willie |

I'm just curious about this final paragraph. We currently do not have a membership site...we will be starting one with RAP Member Plus. Do I still need an add-on? Thanks again. If your product is as good as your support, I'm sure I'll be very happy with it. Ted

Hi Sid,
I think your product sounds fantastic. I'm about to pull the trigger and buy it but I have a question. I don't understand why you need the subscription add-on if you want to have recurring billing. I thought you could do that simply by using a different button on your merchant paypal account? I have a Wishlist WP site I am setting up and I know I can use paypal with it in the manner I described. Thanks, Andrew |

Hi Andrew,
Quote:
But... That's a pretty restrictive business model. Your Paypal Subscription button is static. RAP builds the subscription code dynamically so that it provides for paying your affiliates - instantly. Unless you feel you can bring in enough members to your site, all on your own, this is very important. Affiliates can make or break you. ... and I haven't seen any provision for affiliates at all in WP Wishlist, so you would need a separate affiliate management system.
