Any users of CrocWeb have any feedback they'd like to share about their services, speed, downtime, etc.?

Thanks.
Mark

I doubt you will get any responses since this is an internet marketing forum. There is a web hosting forum that would have a better opinion.

I think Croc Web is out of Canada.

      I know that it's a marketing forum.

I also know that every living soul that has a website doing internet marketing uses a web host of some kind. That's why I posted it here. Crocweb has run ads here and I know that some users use them.

The other places, like WebHostingTalk.com have hundreds of competing hosts ready to tell you how every other host sucks.

      Thanks.

I use Crocweb and I am very happy with their service so far. Quick response to questions and they have great prices for re-seller hosting.

They had an attack of some kind a while back, similar to the attack that Aweber and Getresponse got but they got it all sorted out and offered 3 months free hosting after that. They have worked perfectly since then.

I have been using Crocweb for the past couple months (got it from the Warrior Forum Ad promotion).

So far things have been good though I don't really like the overloaded servers (with the # of sites - performance hasn't been an issue). There are quite a few less preferred site neighbors which I'm afraid is affecting our SEO to some degree; going to get a private IP or look for alternative. (There are 1000s of sites hosted on our same IP)

Performance wise, server uses litespeed and sites loads fast. Uptime, we haven't found any issue. Support, is quick and responsive.

I've used Crocweb and I am very happy with them, hosting over 20+ websites. One thing you have to note is that they are using Apache Liteserver so some scripts may not work them.

Do you have more specific information about which scripts may not work? I assume it will run WP and common WP plugins? I did a search and couldn't find any specific examples of scripts not working but it makes sense that some may not.

You should not have any issues, they're a standard host that's been around for a while. In regards to the "Apache Liteserver" listed above, they mean "LiteSpeed Web Server" which is a replacement for Apache. We use this on all shared/reseller hosting as well.
