Fiverr Gigs For Solo Ads

Hi all, I hope this is the correct place for posting this thread..There has been a glut of fiverr gigs promising traffic from big solo ads lists..For just $5-20.

Looks too good to be true, but they all seem to have glowing reviewers from people who bought these gigs..But they could be bribed into giving a good review in return for a bonus.

Now my question is this: Has anyone used any of these gigs with good results? If so, have the solo ads provided been good for list building? thanks for your input!

Regards,

Steve

I would expect that your mileage will vary greatly depending on several factors.

I've seen a few gigs and most just guarantee that they'll send to their list, but there's no guarantee of clicks received.

What I assume will happen is that a bot will fill in some fake emails and actually click through on your first broadcast making you think the leads are legit, but they're just bots.

This is the current plague of crap in the solo ad world. Very intricate stuff (actually not really since it's easily detected if you know what to look for) which is sadly messing up things for the good people in the industry.

People are paying $40-$70 for 100 clicks. Then that gig is offering much clicks just for $5-$20??
Most of them are non-targeted and I can't trust to those type of clicks!
How can you convert those clicks to sales or subscribers? I think Conversion rate will be 1% even in your squeeze page!

I agree, but there definitely one or two genuine ones out of every 20 gigs..lol

I was also wondering that how a $5 gig can give more than 1000 clicks over your links and you can expect some leads afterall.

I think you are missing the point.

I've purchased soloads ranging from $500 and above... I got 1000 subscribers so far. I've marketed to this list both high ticket and low ticket goods. But no sales, ZERO!

For now I'm leaning towards organic paid traffic. I believe that's where the money really is!

I had purchased a solo ad gig from fiverr about a month back(because i want to build my list). The provider had sent my message to 20 million safelist subscribers. I got around 39 subscribers only and out of 39 for half of them the email was undelivered. These traffic gigs are really making people fool!!!

What i have understood so far is to build your list we can purchase organic paid traffic or doing it yourself stuff like social media, social bookmarking and video marketing etc.

we need to find out the seller first before we buy a solo ad from them or we'll throw our money for nothing ..

Yeah, I think that they generally just promise to send, as opposed to promising to deliver.

solo ads and solo lists are two totally different things, i suggest you research both so you know what you are considering buying.

solo ads (from a respectable marketer) are simply a single email sent to their list.

solo lists are lists of subscribers who have ONLY SIGNED UP SO THEY CAN BLAST THE SAME LIST. these people are not real subscribers and probably signed up with a fake/trash email anyway so they are not reading the emails, only interested in sending to the list itself.

needless to say solo lists are shit.

Fiverr can be absolutely wonderful for finding people who will do things you cannot do... such as designing a Kindle book cover.

But you can't buy traffic cheaply. You get what you pay for. If it's sounds too good to be true... yep, it's too good to be true.

If nothing else - I've learned the wisdom of that cliche.

Take that example from Syssolution above - sending out to twenty million emails, and getting just 39 subs. Assuming just a 50 percent opt-in rate, sending twenty million emails gave a .000004% response.

If my list ever gave me a response like that - I'd shoot myself.

In fact, if my list ever got to the point of just a FEW percentage points in open rates - I'd know I was doing something terribly wrong.

If you can get more opt-ins from just a single solo ad of 100 people, than from twenty million people - where should you be spending your solo ad money?

What is truly worrying is that
    a) people continue to buy solo ads where they pay 50 or 70 cts for crap clicks (often blind clicks, or people asking to "double click" to get the report, or shared clicks)… whatever it's crap
    b) people ask if it's ok to get irrelevant clicks from fiverr vendors…

Most of them are still happy, because they got clicks, and since they have no funnel, they're happy. But that's not the way it works. Get a funnel, get some metrics (meaning you know you get like $1.5 per click for example) and then create your own traffic campaign. Stop thinking that clicks are great. Clicks are worth nothing.

Summary: HAVE you ever seen one of these shitty solo ad vendor into a single affiliate contest leaderboard? Just once?

No need to answer. It's a resounding NO. So why in the world would anyone buy clicks from them? It's probably time to get real and run your business like if it meant something to you.

Hi, I have bought solo ads off fiverr & I found them pretty poor, they seem to use safe mail services.
I really need to do some homework & see if there is a good quality solo ad provider on fiverr.

Why trust someones list when you can build your own? If you want to target Kindle readers for example, giveaway a Kindle Unlimited Subscription.

Then 100% of the people more than likely would enter giveaway and you can make them like your facebook page, register to your site or join your list.

Same thing for weight loss, giveaway a fitbit or something related and only those entering need to lose weight. Its the best option.

First of all,NEVER buy solo ads from Fiverr. LOL

Fiverr, odesk and some other freelancer sites are awesome for many things such as outsourcing,designing,copywriting....
but Solo Ads ain´t one of them.
Lot of Gigs out there promise to send your offer to their 2 million people fan page, but many people don´t know that your "message" will be seen maybe 500 times or less because of the Social network algorithm....and that same message will look like a spam because it comes from site wilthout authority.

P.S. Stick to the real Solo Ad Vendors (More money, more quality)

I have purchased numerous gigs 'testing' for traffic...from solo ads to 30 days worth of traffic. ZERO results each time. Of course one should always take in account the offer and/or squeeze page you have.
    so, put your fiverr away....
