Default Traffic Swarm

I'm trying to create an online income without spending a dime! I ran across a traffic exchange called Traffic Swarm. Are there any members who can give me a few tips about this program.

Personally, I stay away from Traffic Exchanges. The traffic there is largely others trying to promote their own business, and not in any kind of research or buying phase of the sales process.

To be successful at it, you really need a large downline on it to earn credits from their efforts if you are going to do it for free.

However, with the paid version, you can generate leads for $4-$5 per lead which isn't that bad, without spending time clicking away.

I do know some who have success with traffic exchanges and spending time clicking, but I would say, most people don't.

I'd recommend spending time on other free marketing like articles, videos or SEO.

So, at least for me, I wouldn't spend time click clicking away on it.

I found Traffic swarm to be a complete waste of time.
There is a program called FreeTrafficBar.com that offer the world. But if they are any good i cannot say..I have only just started to use them to see.

success in traffic swarm depends on several things, the main thing being what you are advertising. what works best for me is giving away something for free (i give away free lead generators) and then using follow up to market my main business.

If you want to use TrafficSwarm go for the PRO-Account ($20 per month I think and you will get free credits to use and you will more credits for watching ads).
I have generated a lot of leads through TrafficSwarm, but the conversion was very low.
As said above, don't try to promote your business directly, it won't work.
Use a short lead capture page with a free offer on it and follow up.
No long sales letter, because people normally don't read your offers at the traffic exchanges, they want to promote their own business.

traffic exchanges can be good for lead generation - giving away something of value for a sign up, but for selling products I am not so sure, unless the product is unique and magnificent -then maybe you'll get some result

I'll agree with the others - use it to capture leads, don't promote your product directly. Have an opt in form, give them something free for opting in, and then in future emails promote your products.

And track your results. Obviously some products or services won't do well, but others do great, so it's worth trying. If you are low on cash it's a cheap way to earn traffic, then with any income you can buy traffic and snow ball it till you don't need to surf ;-)

Traffic exchanges are not worth your time. It is best to go for search engine traffic. That is where the money is at.

Okay people, traffic exchanges are a complete waste of time, especially Traffic Swarm. Bottom line. Try using Search Engine, social media, and other methods to get traffic. All the traffic in the world means nothing if it doesn't make you money

So far that's been my take on the traffic exchange. I'm supposed to get a free membership for life and 100 bonus points for signing up....that's a hard to ignore when you trying to get a few more eyeballs on your ads.

I agree complete waste of time if your trying to get a sale its better used to get some sign ups to your list if you have a free ebook to offer. But don't expect to explode your list with it as some Gurus I have ran into in the past would lead you to believe.

I found traffic swarm to be o.k. for 2 things.

If you are promoting mlm when the mlm program
is new and like others mentioned, for lead capture.

I have only had success with the mlm promotions
when it cost under $10 to join the program. But,
it is a lot of work and very little payout.

Traffic Swarm seems to take forever to show
your ads.

Needless to say, I don't waste my time with
those anymore.

If you are trying to do the free marketing thing,
why not put your energies into article marketing
with the free article directories as opposed to
clicking away in the traffic exchanges.

You will have much better luck!

I second what people have been saying here. If you want to use TrafficSwarm use a short leadcapture page with something for free. Just to grow yor list. I found that it´s not good for anything else.

I think there are two main problems with traffic exchange sites:

1. Most people are there to sell their products, not to buy anything.
2. Even if you get some traffic it's not targeted traffic so your chances of selling anything are really slim.

I personally think it's a waste of my time, there are many other ways to promote my products that will generate better results.

I joined Traffic Swarm and find it is more about them selling their advertiser's products than providing the user with good opportunities. I do go on each day and surf the 6 member sites and enter the lottery for credits! Takes 5 minutes. Otherwise I don't waste my time on it. I do like List Joe, though. It is straight forward and easy.

Cheers, Marimack

It's terrible for internet marketers who wants to hang around on that thing clicking on other peoples site trying to get credit to get your site a hire ranking when the people on there aren't targeted traffic anyway. Your time would be much better spent doing some real marketing or researching keywords and trying to get your sites on the first page Google I guess TS is good for something, but most of us just don't have the time for it

The problem with the traffic coming from traffic exchange programs is that like you don't want to spend a dime in order to create an online income, so do others who use the traffic exchanges!

That's why even if you can generate some leads using this method to generate the traffic to your website, you cannot get them convert for you to sales.

Don't let anyone confuse you. There are people using traffic exchanges with money to spend. Just some things to munch on:

I sent 2897 hits to an squeeze page this past week, 96 subscribers.

I placed 10th in Jeff Dedrick's Send Button Profits launch. 4th in Soren's Clickbank Pirate launch. Made lots of $$ too.

And I use traffic exchanges exclusively.

Yes, I own StartXchange, but the same people I'm selling to are the same people seeing the ads in rotation. You just need to learn how to do it properly.

This happens with any advertising method.. Safelists, SEO, PPC, etc. The people using them the right way boast about how well they work, and the people using them the wrong way say it's all a scam.

Hi

Traffic exchanges are good for finding programs if you are looking for something but not so good when it comes to building a list. Most people flip through the sites to earn credits. Granted ,you have to stay on the page for a certain amount of time and there is a counter letting you know when to move on. The problem is people click and move on to other things till the counter stops and move on to something else. They can do this all day and earn credits but never sign up for anything.

You have to rember that these are people wanting to sell what they already have rather than buying something new. You are basically trying to outdo each other. You will notice a lot of clicks and visits on you sites but that is just people browsing and not potential customers.

Even the paid version does not do any better. They are basically giving you more credits but not buyers. It is very time consuming.

Traffic exchanges are a total and complete waste of time. I can't believe that after all these years, TE's are still able to sucker ppl into joining or that there are even threads like this one discussing the viability of these things. The only purpose that TE's or Safelists serve is so that the site owners have a nice fat list of suckers to schlepp their garbage to. Sorry if this sounds harsh but the truth hurts. Run fast and far from these things and never look back.

How dare you even speak of SEO and PPC in the same sentence as SL's and TE's. Those two worlds are galaxies apart in terms of legitimacy and performance. IMO of course

I love Traffic Swarm, its help get your ads out their for you Opt-In pages. Another thing I like is that they have fake FRAUD LINKS, that way people just don't click through them as fast as possible while watching movies.

Once you hit 5 of those fake links, your account is terminated, which makes sense because its down right dirty in my opinion if the person doesn't at least give the link a 20 second look. After all, the other person loses points when their ad is clicked, so just take a second to review their page.

I haven't tried to make any sales on TS, but I know its a great way to get subscribers for your newsletters. Also, not many people take advantage of this but, since the majority of the people out there on traffic swarm are trying to make sales or build a list, its a good way to advertise yourself and look for potential JV Partners.
