Micro Continuity...Russell Brunson is one Smart Genius!

Why I think Russell is a genius?

Here is how I look at his Micro-Continuity Model...and it is so clever and innovative and simple yet wonder why I never thought about it.

Taking that bonus that you were initially going to give for free that comes with your product for sale, and instead give that bonus away for free first, before pitching the sale, and you will probably still make some profits from the shipping, and the sales rate will go higher!

Pitching your main intended sale second after giving away a bonus product first, is the sweet icing on the plan untasteful cake, and nobody likes to be sales pitch too out of the blue first...well, that's just me anyway

Essentially, you are just giving away high-quality value first to the prospects to earn their trust and relationship, and then they will buy from you without any buyer's remorse and will have guilt about requesting refunds after you have deliver them so much value.

One word...INGENIOUS!

it's pretty much what Launch tree talked about - and Russel was one of their testimonials/case studies

Here's why I am intrigued By Russell: he's taken a very different approach to building his business then most of the other big name marketers - his business is everygreen, and isn't built around launches. Granted, he also has a huge infrastructure to run (a lot of employees), and he's said he needs to make 8000 sales a month to keep his machine running !

      Yep, very clever idea.

I heard Ryan Deiss talk about this last year- called it the football phone offer, after the sports illustrated model. - doesn't really matter where the idea came from though- the idea itself is brilliant and applying it into a new area is the smart part.

We all stand on the shoulders of geniuses

No he said he needs 8,000 - 10,000 leads per month, not sales but rather leads...

And the fact that it's not a full-blown membership site continuity but rather one that takes a lot less time and work to setup is the genius behind it. You could crank out these babies quite fast and still have extremely good content.

O like this model because there is an end in sight and I imagine the majority of your members will like that too. learn something and then get out... Nothing saying you couldn't create an advanced version to promote to the buyers of your first program.

from what I recall, his leads are the people who take him up on his free-plus-shipping offers. That's a huge number to keep his ship afloat - which is why I find him such an interesting person to study, as he knows how to keep selling a lot of product day after day.

His "limited time continuity" via an autoresponder has been done before, too.. I'm nit-picking here though, as I really admire the guy.

I considered him the king of everygreen marketing, but it's starting to look like he's starting to head down the launch path with these free-plus-shipping offers linked to his "micro continuity".

Anyone else find his video on this hard to follow? sometimes the continuity part seemd to be the typical forced model attached to the sale of a free-plus-shipping type model, and at other times it seemed like the "part 2" of his squeeze sequence ("for 7 more tips like this, blah blah blah": he talked about doing a video every week).. I guess I should get the actual product for some clarification instead of relying on the video.

Anytime a marketer can find a way to make money by giving
away great content...and share that strategy with everyone
else, it's always a good thing.

I was going to say he didn't come up with this, as there are plenty of other people doing the 'free plus shipping' thing. But maybe they got the idea from him.. either way, he's an interesting person to study.

So far I am finding the audio portion of the program quite informative.

I'm pretty pumped about it. I actually started converting the site I was about to launch to a Micro-C site just from watching the video on the blog during pre-launch, and also by studying the case study (Joy/Preschool).

I'm just stuck on the traffic thing - I sure wish I had a copy of his traffic stuff. *sigh.
