I wanted to take a bit of time to write an honest review of my experience with HPBacklinks.com.

At first glance it seems like a well thought out setup although in the present climate, it's still a risky option.

I decided to do some testing and purchased a handful of links to see what they were like in terms of quality and results in helping rankings.

After purchasing, I had to wait a couple of weeks for link software to pick them up so that I could check the profile quality.
What I found was that although the links had decent PR, the profiles had no high PR links pointing to the domains which I would have thought, rendered them redundant.

On several occasions, their system had to delete a link I had selected due to it wither being deindexed or for some other reason. Apart from the monthly cost of links, you also have to pay a one time fee for the content that contains the link which is reasonable although if the link keeps getting deleted, it can be a costly exercise.

My thoughts on this service are that for the risk involved, it's simply not worth it and is an absolute waste of money because since the initial purchase, the links were either deleted or totally useless to show any results.

Even for the price, it's still monthly and you're better off buying a few domains and setting up your own PBN.

Conclusion; I would never recommend this service to anyone and it's a total waste of money and interestingly, I'm still waiting for my refund which they have so far still refused to remit.

The only plus side is that the support were decent enough to give me some credits due to the bad experience I was having in finding ONE decent link which never materialised but I now realise that this was a ploy to draw me in and then withdraw payment before the time periods had actually started.

In fact, I would go as far as calling it theft so in short, avoid this service like the plaque.

I hope this honest review helps someone avoid the fatal mistake of taking on this poor (fraudulent) service.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We've got some 26,000 sites for advertisers to pick from, many of which are aged domains and others that are cheap, dropped domains (still with valid PR). You can pick and choose what you want, we don't hide anything.

As for the deleted link credits, we relentlessly check to confirm that links remain active on the publisher's homepage. I'd expect nothing less if I were the advertiser. And deindexed sites are a cost of doing business, it's going to happen. In either case we provide a credit back to you for value not received.

Yes, buying links can be risky. But as a business we've always been fair and transparent in our dealings with the IM community starting with BuildMyRank.

I miss build my rank before Google nailed them. I could get sites ranked in less than a week for medium competitive keyword.....ahhhhh those were the days!

In the past few months there have been so many different SEO do's and dont's I have no idea what should or will work anymore.....so now I just do PPC. I know my cost, I know my ranks wont change and I know it wont go away
