Remember - Hide your credit cards...! Boy, they all looked like the real deal for me at first! Then that was 10 years ago. I burned some plastic finding out most of it then was rehashed junk from one to another. Then I found the ones that were marketing the same thing they were selling me and telling me to earn by selling what I had just bought - I was a dope!

Look out there amongst the trustworthy and respectable - I despise the "$10K first day" junk.

Chris Farrell has good stuff. Bryan Zimmerman has a great newbie program as well!

Hope that helps - Stay on this forum and get good stuff!

I know exactly where you are coming from with this.

If you ever heard of Jay Abraham and Rich Schefren I can vouch for their programs 110% without hesitation. One is a offline business principles and systems strategist and the other is an online one. They are merging to help people leverage in the new web 2.0 environment and have the clout as well as the goodwill of all these never before compiled fortune 500 experts to give their analysis and insights live and give away free.

Check this and get your complimentary all-access pass for 6 week event - it will open your eyes in many ways and help evolve your perspective.

All I can say is it is not easy for just anyone to get this caliber of experts to come together and give their time and their expertise - not just blabbering about info and skimming off on generic principles - but to actually pull 'teeth' in terms of insights and applications relevant to businesses and entrepreneurs. But this jV of two of marketing's prominent people have their goodwill and trust too.

Have a look. Highly recommended. Then share with others here too.

If during the event you don't understand anything or want to bounce ideas off anyone, just PM me with your questions.

Alexander

Hi Starr, I think it's important to follow the people that are teaching you what you seen them do and have success in that area of expertise. Some are great at list building, product creation, PPC, SEO and other niches. I think that it is important to learn from those where you've seen products from before and you then Google to research the product and look for other feedback in the other forums and chatter on the internet.

If it passes this test I would then make the purchase if it fits your business strategy. I also would recommend what you're business strategy is and stick to it and your niche. Information overload happens to the best of us, but if you're focused you won't get distracted. Make your business plan, create the tasks that you need to complete each day and make sure that the products that you purchase are inline with your business plan.

Also search for a mentor that can teach you along the way. This can be done via the webinars, and email. IM is a business and you must be ready to plan , stratigize execute and it will have expenses and of course profits. I think that focuse is the best move to be successful just like any business.

Hope that was helpful,

Mark

I would hold on to my wallet if anyone is telling you how to make fast money. Based on my experience this is not the place for fast money.

Jimmy.

The advice here is good. Conflicting but good.
Trust noone, b/c everyone has something they want to sell you.
I have been online for over a year now and it has taken me that long to sift through what will and won't work for me.
I don't do clickbank, but lots of people do great with it.

The first thing is just RESEARCH, research, research. It's overwhelming, if you join programs right up front it'll be a waste of money.

There is no FAST way....but there are ways that will build your business. If you want to replace your day job...then that is what you have to do....build a business, not a get rich quick scheme.

Starr,

I don't consider myself a newbie, but I'm no expert yet. I know there were allot of good answers, i didn't read all of them but I'm going to throw my hat in the ring.

I started a couple years ago and jumped on few products only to be disappointed. The reason was i was looking for a magic bullet that made everything work with little effort or time invested. I learned allot in past couple years.

1. find your niche
2. follow people who are successful in that niche
3. have a plan
4. focus daily on it
5. be patient
6. invest in yourself and business

get the basics domain name, hosting and auto responder and start building a list in your niche this will improve your results dramatically. Not trusting anyone is good advice but somewhere along the line you will need to take a leap of faith. Trust but verify.

Good Luck

Hi D.Starr

As far as a single product solution goes I don't really know of any, but as for services I'd check out Chris Farrell He shows you how to build a functional web business form A to Z. Then if you like, you can also promote his products if you do not have your own! I've learned a TON from him in the short time I've tried out his service, its top notch!
As for making money, it takes time to build a (web) business up, there's no quick solution. It's hard work, ya gotta put in the effort but if you're serious, hang in there and never give up!

All the best to ya,

Lochsloyca

Do not trust anyone...Just bought a course and implement it.
From time to time you going to build a relationship with the non guru internet marketers. No, dont trust them yet. But you can get info from them about products in IM.
