Need Autoresponder I can import my emails

Hi,

I have emails collected from my Yahoo store subscribers that I was to start sending newsletters to using a decent autoresponder.
Can't use aweber without loosing a bunch of people with the double-opt in hoops they will have to jump through, and probably won't.

I would prefer not to run the program off my desktop or from my own hosted server.
Is there a commercial web hosted autoresponder service that lets me import my own emails already collected"

Thanks,

Will

Are your Yahoo store subscribers already double opt-in?

If so, have a look at post #4 in this thread where Justin Premick
from Aweber explains how you could migrate them to Aweber without sending
    a confirmation email

I have heard Email Aces will allow this. I can't guarantee it, but it may be worth a look.

Nothing wrong with setting up your own email broadcaster and setting up your white lists with the major ISP's and email providers. It's really not that hard as most want you to think.

        I'll outline the basic steps.

        1. Get a free copy of phplist or buy a copy of 12all and install it on your server. Many other mailers are available.

        2. Contact the following... AOL, hotmail and yahoo to get their instructions on what you need to do to whilelist your mail server.

        3. Fill out the paperwork and make any tweeks they ask for.

        4. Setup a loopback with yahoo. This way they send you any emails that are reported as spam. Add the email address to the body of each email sent so you know who reported you as spam. (Yahoo strips out the header email)

        5. Just monitor your spam rate and make sure you remove bounced emails from your list. Keep it clean as possible.

        That's it in a nutshell.

I saw the one suggestion above for get response -- I use them and love them, but they send an optin confirmation on your imports, so if you think that will cost you members, then something like email aces may be better.

awakear is installed on your server. That doesn't work for setting up reliable autoresponders....
