Ok Everyone. I have made a group over at Meetup.com for us to organize a meeting. L.A. Internet Marketing Mastermind (Los Angeles, CA) - Meetup.com Membership is free.

From reading past messages, it seems Hollywood is a good location to meet. Would people prefer 6:30 or 7?

Does anyone have a suggestion for the topics of our first meetup? We should spend at least some time getting some rules in place and a schedule down, but there's no need to use the whole time to do that.

I'm thinking about an hour is sufficient for the meeting.

Anyone know of a good place in Hollywood to meet? I would plan on about 10 people.

I've had success forming another mastermind group in the past for a different subject area. When set up correctly, these groups can provide amazing value to everyone involved.

Any group takes effort and patience to startup. While I am a newb at IM, I am fairly experienced with setting up these types of groups. The best I can say is that when you put effort into a well structure group, the return is a multiple of your investment, just like a good IM venture.

I went ahead and posted the time on the Mastermind group as 7. First half-hour social getting to know you, then about an hour discussing the meat and potatoes. Hey folks,

As a heads up a good place for a good mastermind is Meetup202 in LA. It is run by one of the meetup organizers Jasper. This is where a lot of affiliates come together to hit off ideas and connect. People usually talk about what networks they are working with, what offers are hot, advice on traffic sources and advice in general.

They recently had a meetup a couple of weeks ago, so it won't have another one for a while. However look up at Meetup202 and you will be able to register for the next one.

PS there are meetup202 in various cities in the US.
