Hey to all the Aussie's on the Queensland coast!

I just wanted to throw this out there and see if there are any fellow internet marketers, and i REALLY mean this when i say IT DOS NOT MATTER WHAT LEVEL YOU ARE AT to come and hang out for a few hours?

My journey in the world of IM has been around learning on W.A and other forums but i have NEVER met anyone in person keen on internet marketing as much as i'am.

I think it would be great to met in person and trouble shoot. I mean you can ask any question and we can discuss in person. It won't matter how big or small, stupid or tricky.Its just the same as this kick ass forum but in person.

I'll organize everything, where we meet, who's coming and if we are going to need some chow or beers or whatever!!!

Hi Jimbo i'm Northside of Brizzie.

Although i'm only new to the internet marketing scene i've been web designing and developing for the last 10. Left my day job last November and vowed never to return to the 9-5 grind.

So far it's working out okay - web freelancing is paying the bills but am working towards getting the IM to do that for me instead. Really sucks to be trading time for dollars.

Anyhow mate if your keen to meet up i think they have an official IM meetup arranged on meetup.com.

I used to go to one but that got cancelled - too bad because the guys there were great.

I think Yaro Starak goes to the official one every now and then, maybe you can check that out or we can try and get one started on here maybe?

I'm so sorry to all for replying so very, very late.

I have been away from the forum for some time, actually had an I.M relapse and my day job took over.

BUT Im back on track.

Went to a I.M 3 day seminar in Feb with speakers such as Armand Morin, Brett McFall, James Schramko and many other MASSIVE successful speakers.

Is anyone still keen on catching up for a chin wag?

There is a get together for Warriors of any Forum on Saturday, 27th March from 9.30 am to 4pm or whenever time everyone wants to go home!

You can come any time & go anytime through out the day...nothing formal, so do pop in & meet us!

It's at the Rydges Oasis Resort in Caloundra & is free.

It's just a casual get together for a chat as Jimbo has said.
I have a Keyword expert friend coming along too.

I was called away from promoting this event more adequately, as my sister took ill & I had to race her off to hospital in the middle of the night last week'

The day was beautiful at the Resort.
We had a few big uninterrupted brainstorming sessions on how best to conduct these sessions for you for the future.

I'm on the stunning Sunshine Coast of Queensland, moved from Sydney early last year (2010). The IM lifestyle allowed me to make the move - have MacBookPro and internet can work anywhere.

I've organised a dynamic meetup group for the Sunny Coast, and we're just over a year old. Although we have 95 official members, 25-30 at each meetup is the average. We meet monthly on a Thursday night in the Maroochydore area. I've also set up a FB Group to communicate between meetings (if interested, join Meetup Group first):

Also, I am event manager for the amazing Aussie, James Schramko's 3 day IM event at the end of this month (October) in Caloundra - it will be massive (training not pitch). Most of his other events have all been in Sydney (the first early one was on the Gold Coast), so its nice to be able to show off my new home to people (presenters and delegates) who are flying in from around the world.

Our Sunshine Coast Meetup Group is growing from strength to strength, with 97 members now (though they've never all turned up to the same meetup fortunately - our old venue would not have coped!).

One of our newer members is Sean Bannister, the creator of SEO for Chrome - the most used SEO extension for Chrome. Sean is our guest presenter on 22 November "Focus on Keyword Research". Our members come from Brisbane, locally and as far north as Bundaberg.
