Local Event: Nottingham Meetup

I have seen there is a substantial amount of people living in Nottingham on this wonderfull forum (all trying to make enough money to get out of Nottingham hehe).

Lets all meet up for a drink or something to eat sometime. What do you think?

Do you all have facebook? I could create a group on fbook and we could arrange monthly meets from there. PM me your email addresses and i'll go from there.

If we get enough interest we could create our own little mini forum.

I'm sure with all our collective strengths and weaknesses we could all offer a lot of value for each other.

If anybody has a better way of us all getting together let me know. I;m happy to organise this or happy to let somebody else do it, as long as it gets done.

I'm amazed at the amount of us that are on this board and are either from Nottingham or living in Nottingham.
A meet up would be a great idea as I'm sure we could al help each other(even if only by showing support)

A think either a facebook group or a sub forum is the way to go as PM'ing each other can easily lead to some people missing out.

I work an easy ass weekend job at an adult shop at the moment. The only time I would be available would be after 4 on sundays. I start a new weekday job at the start of feb though and will be leaving this current job.

So my vote is a weekday if it's before feb 8th, after that I can do weekends.

Nice to meet the guys who turned up, the meeting was good, there were not as many people as planned but a few private meetings have already been arranged off the back of it

Hi,

Unfortunately there wasn't a great turnout at the last event, only about 5 people (after 15+ said they were up for it!).

Feel free to organise another East Midlands / Nottingham meet up yourself, but I suggest getting money from people up front to boost the numbers and gauge how serious people are.
