Suzanne - I'm W Midlands. What about a meeting in the Ross on Wye area? Not a big town I know, but easily accessible (M50) or A40 and easy parking. I'd be happy to organise, depending on numbers

I can only do Mon to Fri and either need to be back here for 3pm OR I could make an evening event, again during the week though.

I'm in Brighton, and I'm very keen on meeting local IM'ers. I've been studying this stuff for a couple of years now, but I don't know anyone locally who I can brainstorm with and it's driving me mad.

I'd love to get a local group together, meeting once a fortnight or so in a local pub, nothing fancy, just an evening spent masterminding, as they call it, and generally comparing notes over a pint.

I am also actively working the offline market here in my area of South Wales. However, again, due to school runs, I can't make London in the pm.

Are there any people wanting to meet in the South Wales area? Cardiff, Swansea (preferably as I am 10 miles from there LOL) - however, Bristol would be ok depending on the time of day as that is just a couple of hours drive for me so could conceivably make that and back in time for the school run...

Perhaps I should start a thread for a meet-up of "Parents who work at home" was gonna say Mums but that is sexist, plenty of Dads work at home and look after their kids as well.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the London Lunch is a long established networking meeting that has been running now every couple of months for almost 4 years.

This is the announcement list signup page: The London Lunch Announcement List - The bi-monthly London Lunch for Internet marketers run by Martin Avis

We meet in a nice hotel in Central London on or around the last Friday of alternate months. The next meeting is Friday 22nd May (the most recent was last week!)

Although it is held in London, the people who come travel from all over - last week we had people from Spain, Germany, North Wales and The Wirral, to name just a few.

Forty people attended and a great time of networking was had by all.

It starts at about 1pm and goes on until people want to leave. The last ones usually totter off at about 8-9pm.

The cost is £30, which is to cover the price of the lunch (a very good 3-course carvery meal).

If you sign up for the announcement list, I promise I won't spam you - all that list is used for is to let people know about the lunches. I have never used it to try to sell anything.

People of all experience levels are welcome.
