I am in Illinois, across the river from Cape Girardeau, and would be in for a STL meet-up.

I did a couple of these in Nashville, TN this year and really enjoyed them. They were casual and laid back. Just a sharing of ideas and getting to see what others are doing.

I will be watching.

While we're waiting for a leader, I'll get the ball rolling and propose a few things:

1. Location should be in St. Louis
2. Should be on a weekend
3. Time of day?
4. Target date?

Agenda

1. Meet fellow Warriors - introductions
2. Business Meeting
3. Adjourn
4. Post meeting BS session (alcohol involved)

For the business meeting portion, we could:

1. Discuss future meetings (when, where, agenda, etc...)
2. Have a subject matter expert speak on a topic (or two, or more...)
3. Have round-table discussions on various topics (pick the topic that interests you)

Your thoughts and suggestions are desired and valued. So let the comments begin...

I wouldn't mind showing up at the Branson group, either, as I still like to go back to the Arkansas Ozarks on occasion (Eureka Springs and Fayetteville).

Okay, if even one other person will tell me they're interested, I'll put down the 18 bucks to start a meetup.com group. Although that may in the middle or end of the week, when I collect some payments. But, I'm ready to get a group started!

I'll also try and scout out a good place to have them--unless anyone has some suggestions?

I'll MC the meeting and host a roundtable on CPA.

Could use some help finding a free meeting room in St. Louis at a decent location.

I'd like to have a regular monthly meeting if possible.

Could use some help in the form of finding a location and also hosting some roundtables, presenters, etc...

I'll set up an autoresponder to collectnames and notify people. More info once I set it up.

However, Central MO and others are certainly welcome to participate in the STL group.

I don't know if everyone is still interested in starting this group, but I will be happy to get it started. Probably an easy location for everyone to get to would be Pujols 5 in Westport Plaza. Is everyone familiar with this? If not, just let me know & I will give you directions. The meeting room is free. All we have to do is each purchase a meal. The only problem is it would have to be during the week for it to be free. Would a certain day be good? How about a Thursday night? What does everyone think?
