However, we do need to keep in mind the rush hours during the week and try to avoid those if at all possible. Unfortunately, many, like myself, are still slaving for The Man during the day and have to work around his schedule until the mastermindness kicks-in and skyrockets our income!

Perhaps Denver is simply too large for a single MM group. Maybe make a "north" group and a "south" group since there seem to be quite a few in the Broomfield/Westminster/Boulder area, and then also a large number down south in Highlands Ranch/etc..

IMO, if a MM is too large, it loses its value because there's just too many people talking and whatnot. Having the groups at 8 or 10 people if we did split north and south might actually be beneficial. It also helps to really get to know the other members when it's not 300 like some of the meetup groups.

Let me check on the Panera hours, I'm headed there for a event in the afternoon, so I'll check on the details. We could also swap out. One group I belong to does a meeting every month switching between Boulder and Denver.

If you have any other suggestions for a place. There's a Perkins off of I-25 and Colorado, but no wi-fi, whereas Panera does.

Since i can't be involved with the organization, i'll let everyone figure out the details, but after organizing these types of groups for real estate in the past (with CAREI), i'd suggest a Saturday morning.

Central is the best idea. Restuarants generally don't work well unless you can get a seperate room. Hotel breakfast areas seem to work well as long as there is a seperate room.

One last thing, if everyone is just looking for a small mastermind type meeting (under 10 people), that is fine. But if anyone one person is interested in making this a business, let me know. There is a big need for an ongoing internet group that would meet 1-2 times per month. I think you could have 50-100 people at each meeting, each paying $30 or annual dues. Speakers from around the country come in and speak (and commissions are split from product sales). Its a business model similar to carei.com (real estate). I know the business model well but don't have the time to put it together. This would be pretty profitbable for someone.

I see a ton of merrit on this proposal. I moved here from the Dallas area and was a member of the DFWSEM. Dues were $75 a year. We were able to attract some good speakers and presentations.

Meetings were once a month at 7:00 PM. I currently run a membership site and have had some good results in organizing people. (you can see me WSO under solderite) I have sent Byron a PM. If I see some interest after this post I will get a Poll page up to start collecting data of days time, and goals.

The feedback of this thread will dictate my actions. Let me know your thoughts.

The perkins off of I-25 and colorado has a small room in the back, but really limits at about 15 people. Would seem more central. Looking at previous posts, I see people from Wyoming down through C. Springs.
Other option is Library which could hold closer to 50 people depending upon size.

Based upon the number of viewers in this thread I think we're around 10-30 people.

The Online Marketers Group meeting is going to be great. We have more people then expected so we are getting a 2nd room to hold the group.

Looks like I missed the meeting on the 14th... all because I didn't search for "Denver Warriors Group" soon enough.

Now that I know about this thread, I'll keep an eye on it.

I too, am interested in meeting to mastermind with others. From what I can tell, everyone is spread out all over the metro area/front range. Maybe a "rotating" meeting place is the way to go. Meet one month in Westminster, the next in west Denver, the next in Highlands Ranch, the next in C Springs, the next in Loveland and so on (sorry if I've left any place out, these are just examples).

Just my 2 cents worth.

OMG, the meeting was great. We had over 100 people there and the energy and enthusiasm was huge. Although the group was large, there were several breakout networking sessions and a lot of ideas shared amongst top marketers.

It was a lot of work to put this together so I’m not sure when the next one will be (probably next February or March) but you can opt in at the website to get notifications of future meetings in Denver. OnlineMarketersGroup dot c om

I'm game to start meeting and masterminding right away. What days and times are good for you. Also, what part of town are you in, or what would be a convenient area for you?

I do this full time from home, so I'm fairly flexible and can travel if that would help. I'm on the east side, in Aurora right now.

Maybe we should PM the others on this thread and start working out the details. Even if it's just a few of us, we should get started and move forward. I'm sure others will come along if there is just a little momentum.
