Hi Susan...

I'm actually about 1:45 from Denver, in the mountains N. of Loveland. Snow and Bronco games are the only time I won't be able to make it...Other than that, I'm open to times and days.

Let's see if we can't get a few more...Be on the look out for posters from our area and let's send them a PM pointing them to these thread.

This is pretty much for a face to face meeting. Sorry about that.

But if you want to Ning, you really don't have to limit yourself to the Rocky Mountain area...As a matter of fact, why don't you start your own thread for people that live in low-population areas to meet "online", such a Ning?

I'm ready...Let's pick a weekday next week in early afternoon. (Not Monday, Broncos are on Monday Night Football).

How about next Tues. 10/21 at 2 pm, somewhere in central Denver/Cherry Creek?

If this works out, each of us can take turns picking a place to meet each time.

That sounds perfect...Count me in. The only reason I won't make it will be if there's heavy snow...Getting up/down the canyon in snow is too much of a hassle.

Hi Susan...

We don't need the Net...I was just asking, I'll leave my laptop at home.

We can discuss net access, etc at the first meeting. I think the most important thing is just to get it going and not worry about every detail when we're just starting out.

Let's keep it simple the first time and just meet at your conference room...

I agree with Kurt. The first meeting will be mostly introductory and planning for future meetings, like getting to know each other, setting a regular schedule etc.

Kurt, I believe Doug is also interested in joining.

I'm a newb, though I'm learning from Michael Mayo so hopefully soon I'll be able to really contribute to the group.

I'll suggest something like alternating times and days...Something like Tues at 2 pm and then on Thurs at 7 pm.

We'll probably also discuss what type of food and drink those that miss the first meeting will need to bring next time, as well as hazing and initiation requirements.

In all reality, there are some really excellent restaurants around here. Whatever type of food you like: Mexican, Sushi, Cajun, BBQ, American

We agreed to meet twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays at 2pm - one meeting in person and the other over skype.

We'll meet in person on the first Tues. of each month and skype on the 3rd
Tues.

So, our next face to face is Nov. 3 at 2pm. I think we can still use Susan's conference room then, so it will be about I-25 and Spear.

I'm in Westminster and would be interested in attending MM groups. I've been dabbling in making money online for a couple years, but want to go to the "next level". I currently work during the day (this job is my primary reason to want to make more money online!!!) from 7-4 or so, M-F.

Please include me in future planning if possible or let me know if there's an alternate way you all are communicating. The group I was in previously in another state used Meetup to organize stuff -- maybe that's an idea for us?

I can help start to get things organized. We need to figure out where a good spot it. There is a Panera with a community room in Westminster and another in downtown Denver by Capitol Hill.

Probably once a month on a Thursday? Not sure how many full timers are on here, so likely in the evening maybe 5-6, but let me check on the hours.

If there are any specific goals that people would like to get out of this, we can start there.

I'm way down in Highlands Ranch so I would prefer something further south than Westminster. A more central location just off I-25 would be great. Also, 5-6 is the middle of rush hour. Would you consider 6-7?
