Local Event: Visiting New York in June

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post in so please move or advise if its better suited for a different category.

I'll be in New York in June and am looking to meet and network with people who work in NY particularly in SEO and Social Media marketing.

I also understand there is a number of events on which if I'm honest I cant afford to go to at the moment however there may be people on here travelling to the events from elsewhere. I found a list which mashable do for weekly events although I can't post links here being a new member! google "mashable-events-apr12"

Any suggestions of people to meet/introductions etc would also be appreciated.
