Default newer marketers welcome

the point: im looking for some marketers interested in forming a mastermind to help keep each other accountable on doing work to help their business. following through on projects and basically keep focused on the dream.

i am a pretty new marketer. been lurking for a long time, been through several products but have had some trouble keeping up with it and following through. i have lots of knoledge i just need to apply more effectively. i have trouble with time management because i am also a full time student in college. so sometimes i need someone to light a fire under my ass.

i am currently in Indianapolis Indiana but with skype i am open to including marketers from all over the world. basically just want a few people to grow with. we can share ideas and what works and doesn't work for us. let me know if anyone is interested.

Lurch632,
This seems to be an issue many people have. I have just started working with someone to keep accountability. I think there is something here.
I am a Leo, and have a way with fire, I might be able to help.
I am a firm believer in the dream!!! Keep in touch.

i say come one come all. i really just need people to hold me accountable for getting things done because im really scatered and stretched for time because im a full time student. what are both your experience levels? i have made about $600 bucks and spent about the same over the last year or so. i have a problem with jumping around between products looking for the silver bullet.

but im done with that. and after this round of tests i think i am going with bring the fresh and im going to stick with that product for atleast 3 montsh and give it a very very good college try. however if you have any good advice on what you are doing and is working please let me know.

good to see such quick and enthusiastic replys

I think accountability is a major issue with newish IMers. From "silver bullet" to "next big thing", and I am guilty of the same. I have spent the last 2 years just reading, learning, trying, and looking. Now that I have set my mind and goals to achieve something, I need to keep myself accountable.

I suggest a weekly contact to keep focus, and accountability. Not so much a "mastermind" but just a regular meet to keep track of where we have been and where we are going, and what we have done to get there, and stating personal goals to other people creates a bit more accountability.

I have seen software which helps, but I think people are better motivators, at least for me. Last week I set a goal to make a "presell" site for "law of attraction" products. I am not saying my site is perfect, but I did get two pages complete, and a big part of it was the "accountability" meeting.

I am not sure if my signature still goes to "MillionairesDream" or "MillionairesLife", but the pages I just created are on "MillionairesLife", so feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for the "accountability" thread. I will post here with my "plans", and by ""stating them" I am accountable to complete the tasks I post (or loose face). .

Respectfully,
A

I go with accountability and responsibility to stick with your company and DO what you plan rather than just putting plans and ideas out there

I think a constant motivation team where we are all motivating each other to complete the work would be best and it would really be a life coach type mentor group. I like it and I'd love to join - let's all connect on LinkedIN and Skype/AIM/Y!Messenger/MSN

LinkedIN: Search Miles Price (I'm Buffalo-Niagara Region, first result for LinkedIN), Skype: imarketingguru, MSN and Y! = imarketingguru

Until we develop a schedule, and regular meetings, I will post some goals and accomplishments.
I just installed a WP site, which I am still getting used to admin. I plan to create some threads, on of which will be an accountability thread. My goal, to set up a vBulliten, and Joomla site this week, to see what IDE. (integrated development environment) I like best. This is my goal by Monday. To test and use different "builders" to see what look, feel, and use each has, then I will pick one to use and develop one of my domains. I am not going to rush into promotions, First I want to develop a basic site which I like the "look and feel".
When I get a "accountability" forum developed, I will ask for peer review, thanks.

I tried Joomla and some other "builders" which just proved to me, that mastering one should be a priority of mine.

I lucked out and got in on a "feedback" thread for a "list building course", with tools. I guess the 7 days was 7 full days, I have about 2 hours per day, and have studied day one's material for the last week, and used some tools. I looked at the template package (still need to fully understand how to use with different builders, or find one that has a app for that)
I am not sure about "site templates", it seems there are so many to pick from. and I still have difficulty taking my "visions" to graphics, so even more reason to stay accountable to myself and my goals.

I guess as a "newish" IM'er I should focus on being accountable for doing some work towards my goals each day.
In many "self help" type studies, it is proven that when one takes the time to make effort each day towards a goal, the sub-conscious mind accepts the conscious choice that it will happen, because the conscious is taking action, the sub conscious will support the decision.

I think having a thread in a public forum such as this can help individuals realize their own goals, by affirmation of the goals, and keeping accountable to the goals posted.

For my personal accountability, I can dedicate 2 hours per day (5 day week) to work on my IM/E-business goals. and post here one time each week, to update myself on my current goals and progress.

I do not want to act to quickly without planning, nor do I want to become paralyzed in analysis. So a Weekly post, with one goal per week.

So this week I will continue with the "list building" course I promised to review, and complete the second "days" worth of study and trial in the course. (I have one week 2 hours per day, so I have time to do this). and the extra hours to explore different platforms to develop a site. (like WP,Joomla, PHP scripts (from fantastico), and content development type programs.

I hope other "Newish" marketers begin posting simple goals to keep on track. This could be a great thread.

So I should have a new web page, from the "list builder" software.
I should tweak my blog page, to include an "accountability" page.

I am almost tempted to scrap everything I have done so far (all pages, and data), because it was really an "exploring" and trial of different components. Yet some pages are ok to use for a "presell" and affiliate product promotion. I am still "newish" and have no product of my own, and have not gained proficiency building pages.

This sound good to me. im also new to IM but i have read quite alot about it and if we all formed a group to help eachother on our ways and share ideas then i think it would make things alot easier for eveyone who is trying to get were they want to be. we can all try diffenet methods and tell eachother what it has achieved. 2 brains are better than one and 4 brains are better than 2 etc etc.
