Its seems like there are quite a few people within a couple hours drive.
Lets set up some group calls first and then meeting every once in a while wouldn't be too difficult either.

Here are some details about the location:
Mosiac Coffeehouse is always a great place to meet. It's a pay-what-you can spot with plenty of room and wi-fi. It's located in Wallingford, 44th and 2nd-ish (4401 2nd Ave NE ) in the bottom of a church. Many Biznik meetings are held there and it's never been an issue in terms of space or noise.

I just saw this today so I can't come to meeting
I am also disabled so I don't drive too far, 30-40 miles OK. I am not familiar with downtown Seattle, but I am not afraid to mapquest or whatever and figure it out.
I am in Everett and I am interested in future meetings or setting up webcast that everyone could attend even on short notice or by us a bit farther north or south.
Any online webcast or teleseminar type call etc. we do I have the ability to record and post at my site for download/viewing for those who couldn't make the session.
OK, off to make more coffee!! Just let me know how today went and about any future plans online or otherwise.

Has there been a second meeting? It seems like there might be enough people interested to form 2-3 groups, or at least a second. Add me to the list; I'd love to hear about it if there's a meeting coming up that's still open to new people coming in. If not, maybe those that came later can form a second.

If anybody feels like it, I'd love to read some posts about what the rest of you want from this group. I'd like to see us form a local talent pool, so we could joint venture on projects that need a specific skill that someone in the group does better that someone else. For example, we might share profits on a deal where a website design person, a copywriter, and an SEO specialist create and promote a killer site for a client and share the profits. Any thoughts?

It looks like there is enough people interested to form a group for the Seattle area group and a Tacoma group?

Here are some suggestions for good group meetings, feel free to add your own:
- Set an agenda for your meeting.
- Even if you're a COMPLETE newbie to the internet marketing, try to think of something you can contribute to or share with the group. A group of newbies just ends up sitting around wondering what to do.
Think computer programs, online/offline, coding, designing, outsourcing etc... It doesn't have to be directly tied into internet marketing, but there is something of value you can offer.
- So along with introducing yourself, mention what you're good at. Here's an example: "Hi I'm Chris, I can help you with Video&Audio problems"
-At the end of every meeting, announce a short goal and hold one other person accountable for their goal.

Here are 2 agendas for your meetings:
- Have a short 5min presentation by some experts. (Everyone should be an expert at something).
- Focus on one persons business/website for around 10 minutes in a brainstorming and critiquing session.

Hey!

I am sorry I didn't post again sooner... I broke my foot on top of my other health issues and wasn't online much except to post my weekly show on my blog. You know those 'ol dr's orders and all

I have been reading all of the new posts in my email though and am looking forward to a meeting.

I broke my right foot so I cannot drive right now. I go on the 18th of August for a 6 week check and x-ray and at that time will find out how much longer I will be in the cast.
