might have a bigger IM population in philly.

at any rate, just as i'm about to put some major eggs in the clickbank basket, i read on black hat world that they are NOT paying out and might be shaving commissions...now i'm back to square one. help is definitely needed.

Well it's hard to know what to believe. That could be a campaign by PayDotCom to discredit CB as well ... There have been times when I wondered why I wasn't getting sales, but sure enough if I'd test myself (and purchase through my hoplink) I'd get credit. Sales fluctuate...

i dunno, chris...maybe i'm jaded, but the complainers don't sound like hacks. and the real problem is, i don't put it past any organization--big, small, reputable, or no-name--to pull shenanigans like that, given the $$ involved.

it should be relatively easy to determine by some tracking software (one reason i need a mastermind group) whether overall clickbank activity is in decline, especially before investing serious $. because if the biggies are starting to lose $$$, they will pull the plug real fast....

i will probably give it a go, but certainly not at the level i was anticipating.

Ok, first, how did a thread about a NJ get together turn into a CB and PDC bash thread? I was interested in a meetup, and now - well, we can forget this one

And second, PDC has no reason to try to discredit CB. None. And I know for a fact this never happens. I work for Mike and I do a LOT of work on PDC.

Which reminds me - keep an eye out for some KILLER new features coming for PDC very soon - yet another reason there's no reason to discredit CB.

I swear, the conspiracy theories make me chuckle sometimes...

I really should have been more clear in what I said - what I meant was that the posts claiming ClickBank are shaving commissions could be negative PR from any competitor as easily as it could be real, truthful data compiled by some affiliate who has contacts at the FBI.

And I'm not saying the competitor espionage is reasonable either -- mainly that just because you read something on the internet sure don't mean its true. Gotta look at it objectively and ask questions.

I agree this thread went way off-topic.

wouldn't consider it "bashing", mike...how about a healthy concern, since i pointed up just a few of the links that are out there about what seems to be a growing problem...could be smoke, could be real. we don't know until we check. got any software, mike, that you could suggest to track whether clickbank sales are in decline?

Not really debating the validity of the issue (although I think it more likely technical issues than anything deliberate - well, except maybe not being forthcoming about the technical issue). Was commenting on two things:

- It's posted in a completely unrelated thread. There are other places on the WF for this

- The fact that PDC was mentioned by name as "possibly" doing something underhanded.

Long haul - that's a relative term

I used to do field service and had clients in South Jersey, Philly, Bluebell PA, Fort Washington PA, Maryland...and drove it quite a bit.

Not that I would drive that for a monthly mastermind. But to have a meetup or a lunch I would.

AM in central NJ (monmouth county) - a few peeps have tried to get these things going but they seem to lose steam very quickly.

I am more than happy to organize if we can get some SERIOUS people who want to attend...

I would suggest we meet up online first, weed out the tire kickers and then meet in person.
