Hi All, I'm based in south Shropshire in easy commute to Telford, Wolverhampton or Birmingham. I could also do Manchester or Bristol at a push. Anyone know of any local events in these areas? ![]() If not perhaps we could set one up. I know of at least 1 other person in the Birmingham area that would be interested. Cheers Martin |

I should add that I am not a newbie and I would class myself as intermediate. I would be happy if the events were for those having success or are relatively new. Your thoughts and suggestions are most welcome... |

Used to organise Midlands Warriors but dwindling numbers meant I stopped running it a long time ago. Other threads floating around here with Birmingham / West Midlands meets, again following the same route so it seems. If you want something doing, best to do it yourself: - define the group on here and meetup.com to increase reach - set a first date, time, location Until someone does that, nothing will get off the ground I'm afraid. Tim. |

We do a Birmingham meetup now and again but nothing regular. Problem is that no one else took initiative and I do not always have the time/motivation to organise it. If you are motivated lets talk and i can activate the lists... |

In the US, theres a site called Manta that lists businesses and the owners name, employees numbers etc etc, it does the UK too to a lesser extent as I think the businesses have to go in and fill the details (i dont know though) , anyone know such a site for the UK that would have more complete records for the UK. also in the USA SRDS.com is a database of businesses mainly for direct mail , is there such a site in the UK |

Worcester would be good for me, too - although I'm out of the country on business Monday-Friday most weeks so would prefer a weekend... @mjbmedia - Check out Experian - they have some pretty good business data services which I've used in the past. -John. |

Dont want to jump this thread - but Birmingham has its own group and since so many of us are from Birmingham lets get this show on the road. Birmingham Entrepreneurs meetup I can book a private room in Bacchus bar (close to train, buses and slap bang in the centre) most days of the week and even weekend. I believe a weekday evening works best for most people. So let me know the general consensus of a good day and i'll get this baby booked. |

hello, I am based in Leicester and would certainly be interested in meeting up too. If Leicester is any good, maybe I could see if there is a suitable venue here? Look forward to hearing from fellow members on this. Thanks Anand |
