I've setup a facebook page and gmail account where we can connect and get to know each other and start a group and get together.

St. Louis Internet Marketing Group (The S.L.I.M. Group) | Facebook

I hope this can be an area where we can discuss issues, ideas, and the like.

I'm not setting this group up for tire kickers or people not motivated to move forward, this is for people who are taking action and aren't afraid to speak up and talk the biz.

I've tried meetups before and it turned into me being the only person talking...explaining what a wordpress blog is and giving advice on where to buy hosting.

If that's where you are right now, you can find that here in the WF and thru google.

Once you get into the business and have started, then you are welcome to the group and we'll help you in anyway we can.

I want this group to be people who take action, risk, want to talk about it, and want to ask questions and offer advice.

Introduce yourself and click like so that you can get updates....

I'd like to get a group together as soon as possible, maybe a week or 2...probably leaning towards 2 as I'm going to head down to Joplin this weekend to offer my help and put my hands to use.

I'm not a WF member but I'm an affiliate marketer, since 98', from STL and we have a semi-mastermind group in STL already. Mostly affiliates and bh seo guys. We usually meet at a bar or sports bar for lunch, shoot the **** and drink some beer. Laid back and non-biz type of setting. We just want to know what works, hot offers, and brings the most traffic.

Mostly CPA, FB Ads, Mailing, BH talk... not too much ebook-selling type or stuff like how do I setup a wordpress blog. Most of us go to ASW every year to party.

Also, we have a 24/7 private IRC room (which is key...) it's like a virtual mastermind group with constant sharing... the more I think about it is lunches are usually when we are bored and want to get out. But it's always nice to meet and BS with the people in your online group... it builds trust, makes the flow of information easier, brings oppurtunities to do JV's, collaborate, and run some partnerships.

Since a lot of people don't have 50 posts to PM and because of FB privacy options I opened up an IRC Chat room to communicate. Drop in anytime. My IRC is on 24/7.
