Jon, we just purchased the multi-site license so I'm "very" curious to hear about WishList Member LIVE in Vegas. Considering the copy Stu wrote for the event I'm thinking you'll come home armed with some actionable information. Do tell!

Hey Leon,

It was a tremendous event. Day 1 was dedicated to the nuts and bolts of the program. I'll let Stu & tracy tell the world about the specifics, but the key takeaway is that what we see now is really just the beginning. there's a tremendous amount of functionality coming. And yes, even though I've spent plenty of time under the hood of WL, I was turned on to a number of cool features I didn't know about, and that will increase my income. So that promise was delivered upon.

They did note that they've been lax in communicating what's going on because they're so tied up in development. They promised to do a better job in the near future, and I expect much of the new features stuff will be explained shortly.

Day 2 was all Stu McLaren and marketing. I filled about 30 pages of a legal size notepad with notes. Amazing. And equally impressive was the give and take between the 30 attendees. It was an inspirational group of people who truly can be called "community leaders". And it wasn't a room full of IM folks. Some really cool niches were represented. Just going a around the room and listening to everyone was an education in and of itself. Some brilliant stuff was offered up.

The good news: they videotaped it and will also be making audio available. I highly recommend it to any WL user.

Now, I'm off to distill a huge flood of notes into some sort of actionable plan.

I wasn't aware of the event here in Vegas or I would have made an attempt to be there.

I am starting to shop for a WP membership script and and debating of Wishlist and MemberWing.

I have to second and third the vote for WLMember. Their support and communication is fantastic compared to what I was using, and I can't believe Stu apologized!

The product is stable and their support is fantastic.

I wouldn't say he apologized -- lord knows the guy has nothing to apologize for. It was really more an acknowledgment that their schedule in launching this hasn't left enough time for more fully developing their website, sending out regular e-mails and so on. And you're right, their one on one support is top-notch and, now that I know what this handful of guys have on their plate, even more remarkable.

For those interested, they noted that they'll be having another event later this spring.

They're good dudes, too. Which makes me feel even better about what a geeky fanboy I've been about that product.
