Local Event: July Networking Gathering On The Beach In Florida

In September 2007 and May 2008, I hosted networking
meetings at a local restaurant near my house.

I announced those meetings in The Internet Marketing
Inner Circle and on The Warrior Forum, inviting anyone
who cared to attend.

There was no cost to attend this gathering... just each
person paid for their own meal since we met on the
balcony of a beachside restaurant (The Crab Trap on
Okaloosa Island).

A lot of great joint venture evolved from those two
gatherings, and I now work closely with several individuals
who showed up. That made the gatherings great successes
in my mind.

I've been told that it's now time for our next gathering,
and that July 2009 is when it should be. Soooo, I'm trying
to get a feel for the best Saturday in July to do this.
Our options are July 11th, 18th or 25th.

This doesn't preclude us from doing it again later in the
summer - now is just a great time. There are not a lot
of internet marketing seminars on the schedule in July,
making it easier for more people to just hang out, network,
and set up MONSTER joint ventures.

Actually, I do anticipate doing this again in the fall.

Please let me know which of those three weekends works
best for you, and we'll settle upon one shortly.

We typically meet mid-afternoon that Saturday and spend
5-7 hours networking. Often people stay in town overnight,
and we get together that Sunday morning too. I live on
the beautiful Emerald Coast where the beaches are amazing.

Okaloosa Island, where we met last time, is 5 minutes from
Destin, Florida. 40 minutes from Pensacola. After we
pick a date, I'll get some of the 2 dozen internet
marketers who live with 20 minutes of me to help me pick
and coordinate on a location :-)

Anyway... give it some though and let me know your
preferences.

I urge anyone who is not sure of going...this could be the opportunity that your business desperately needs. I am personally overcommitted as well, but I would think as far a way from the forth as possible. By the end of the month, most summer vacations will be over, so u may get more attendees.

The only one of the three dates that does not work for me is the 18th. I'll be in the Tennessee Mountains, hanging with Lynn Terry then.

So both the 11th and 25th work great for me. However, if the 18th is the date that you choose, please shoot me an email when you plan the next one. I'd love to attend any future events if possible.

I understand. July is fairly busy for me too, but fortunately
it's all local stuff.

Haven't picked a Fall date yet, need to look at what else is

I've made every GKIC meeting since the chapter formed except
when I was out of town.

Great group, and I have joint ventures with 4-5 people that were
in the room last night, so the networking is VERY powerful.

I just 2 weeks ago secured highspeed access at my home, so I am ready to get back to hitting it hard and heavy. I am planning a workshop for local small business. Should be within the next 4 - 5 weeks.

Would be glad to help Willie. Just let me know if you need me to do anything. Have connections at The Palms and Destin West. Just went to a Casino Night at The Palms and while not directly on the Gulf, they have very nice meeting rooms and a nice bar/lounge that is a good place to hang out. Also have a friend that owns the Holiday Inn Sunspree on the Gulf on Okaloosa Island. They have an awesome outdoor area and a great restaurant (from Guglielmo) onsite.

We'll likely keep it informal/low-pressure and meet on
the back deck of The Crab Trap on The Boardwalk. They
will let us stay as long as we want.

There are several nearby areas with tons of seats, etc.
where small or large groups could network and we could
all network, look for JV opportunities, etc.

Several people are staying over-night or for several days,
but I think most of them have reservations. If I get any
more requests, I may give you a call :-)

Should be a fun (and productive) gathering.

I just spoke with Willie.

Plan to meet up at the Crab Trap on Okaloosa Island around 2:00 PM tomorrow (18 July). I'm not real familiar with the geography in this area yet, but it's my understanding that it's just to the right after you get off the bridge from Ft. Walton. (If anybody sees me wandering around lost - grab me and point me in the right direction.)

Willie said he's expecting a good group, and it should be a very productive (and fun) afternoon.
