Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the great responses. My apologies for the delay. So far their are a total of 4 ppl interested. I'm thinking about us doing an in person meetup in NYC or group Skype on Tuesday Feb 24th or Thurs Feb 36th at 7pm? Will that work for everyone? This is just to get the ball rolling and get acquainted.

Mike Ambrosio used to do a great job getting a bunch of people together.

The couple I went to he organized or played a huge role in organizing had an impressive turnout.

I would go to one if it were on Long Island (because I'm too lazy to drive to NJ).

Interested here as well. Although my calendar appears booked for February 36th I would definitely be welcome to a meet up or Skype call with others.

I have primarily focused on targeting local businesses in northern New Jersey and work in Secaucus.

It's been years since I organized these get togethers. 2007 was the last one I did before I went to work for MF. These days, I don't do much in the IM space. Couple of blogs and a SAAS project I am slowly working on.

Also, I used to have them in northern NJ because I am from upstate NY and don't like city trips.

Maybe if enough people are interested - and I can change Jason Dinners mind - I will organize one.

Now come on Jason - I drove out to L.I. a LOT - I think you can do ONE trip to NJ

This is great feedback. I tried setting up a Skype call before but didn't work out well. However, I'm glad to see we have some strong interest. I'm going to PM everyone again to set up another Skype. I'm also looking to set up a meetup group to host live panel Q&A / workshops / and networking monthly or bi-monthly. I'll shot those PM's by Friday and look to host a Skype within the next 2 weeks.

Hello NJ/NYC Crew,

Was checking out the thread and noticed there hasn't been much activity around the NYC/NJ meetup for some time and I want to connect and see if anything has been going on recently in the near future.

Also want to mention I'm in the process of getting a Philly Meetup off the ground and thought I would post here to see if anyone might be interested in joining us. We hold the meetup at Amtrack 30th St. Station so if you had any concern about getting to the place, it's as central a location as you can possibly imagine. Next meet up is this Sunday Jan 10th. I know it's probably too far of a hike, but hey couldn't hurt to share the info

And I'm also interested in getting to NY on the regular this year, and getting to a IM meetup would definitely be a motivating factor.
