Lotsa lookers; no takers?

So I just thought I'd tell you about our last Eastside meeting which took place yesterday at a coffee shop in Bellevue, with a new 4th member (an attorney) - who I met networking elsewhere. Great synergy. In the hour and a half meeting we discussed, among other things, copyright infringement, my new brand (coming soon), one of our sites that is going live in the next 2 weeks with some significant fanfare in a very interesting niche market, and another website where the owner has just started a coaching service and got her first client.

Like I said, very good synergy.

So here's the deal. Four is a good number; so we have that. I think a group size of 4-8 is good; beyond 8 gets to be logisitcally more challenging. So I'm up for us looking to add one or two more for now. And once that stabilizes, then perhaps adding one or two more after that. The final number will be no more than 8 unless the group has a consensus that it should be bigger. So far, no one is pushing for a large group.

Here's the way it'll work if you're interested:

1 - You PM me.
2 - You and I meet at a local coffee shop. It can be for lunch or sometime in the afternoon for coffee (or whatever you're having).
3 - If the conversation is good, I'll talk about it with the folks in the mastermind group and suggest that we all meet. The answer will almost certainly be "yes."
4 - We all meet. If we hit it off we'll talk it over and will probably invite you to join us. No promises - just talking about what I think is likely.

There are no dues. If we meet for lunch, we generally pay our own way. There's no obligation for you to show up. But if you stop showing up, we'll stop including you in the meeting set-up discussions.

Like I said, we've got a good mix right now. So I'm not promising anything. If you'd like to do a mutual check out, I'm game for that. PM me and we'll make that happen.

One last thing... we round-robin the meeting location. One of us lives north of Seattle, another lives around Kirkland, another in Issaquah, and I'm in Bellevue. Next time will likely be in Seattle to make it easier for our newest member.

P.S. - I'm a guy. I know that if my wife were to say she was going to meet some guy she met on the internet, I'd be a little uneasy about it, what with all the nuts out there. I fully understand that if you're a gal you could be very reluctant too. If that's the case, I'll send you my Skype id, and put you in touch with the female member of our group so you can talk with her by phone and maybe meet with her instead of me. I have no inner need to be the one who introduces you to our group. Whatever works.
