Hmm.. Cool. I live in Victoria, well Sidney, so I'm almost as close as some people on the mainland considering the airport and ferries are each about 10 minutes away from me...
I'm still going to look around to see if there's one for Victoria yet, and if not probably make one... But perhaps a convergence at some time.

Great. Ok, there looks like there is a bit of interest in the mastermind meetings in the Vancouver area.

Over the years, I've come across of lot of such groups/gatherings. Currently, I know of a few around town, from 3 people to 20 people meetings. In my experience, after seeing so many of these groups, they sorta start out strong, then peter off in the end as most people don't really commit to doing it (Vancouver syndrome) and not much happened.

I'd like to do something different from these previous ones.

I'd like to set up a mastermind where we actually meet for educational or collaboration purposes, NOT just general meetings every time. For example, we'll talk about work flows or learn about new things or discuss topics in a deeper aspect. Would love for us to work on some projects together, either an existing one or to create a new test one.

Thus, we don't really need a ton of people, I'd rather have people who actually have time to commit to a project.

I have access to an office area that we can rent out for our meetings during the weekdays, that has Shaw Extreme high speed internet, everyone just pitches in $10 to $15 for the room.

If you are interested, please PM me and once we have a few guys (a few of you already have PM'd me), we'll schedule regular meetings.

Did you read the posts above? I'm not interested in paying for space... I doubt others are going to get $10-15 of value out of your shaw connection. I'm looking to connect with people. :rolleyes:

Hey thanks for your input. Yes, I did read it and you know, I'm not looking for a large group as those tend not to be as good as small (and deep) mastermind groups. I'm really interested in a small handful of people. Max is 10, as you'll see why below.

The cost is the cost of the office, not for the internet connection, but of course it sure is nice to have a space that actually have fast connection for once. It is an actual office, meaning that we will use it to project manage, post charts, and do stuff - of which we'll actually do, either discussions in learning or doing or both. I have a few tools that I'm using right now that I'd love to share with other. The office will be private as well.

However, if you can find us a free office like this that we can use consistently, then I'm not opposed to using it instead..

If the cost is a barrier for anyone to participate, then the answer is really quite simple, don't. I'm interested in a group that actually wants to invest their time, effort, and least of all money (trust me, the time and effort in doing this COST way more, I live that reality every day). Why don't we all go out for a group dinner and we'll make sure everyone pays your share as well.

If one adds up the cost for all the meetings that will happen over the course of a year, that wouldn't even come close to the cost of one of the big packages that are being sold on internet marketing today, yet we're doing to be cross learning and actually doing a variety of example strategies.

One thing is guaranteed. It will be fun.

So again, if you can't pay, let's say $15 for the use of the room, I'm sure there are still a lot of groups that meet at free spaces out there that you can find, no problem here.
