June 16th Networking On The Northwest Florida Beach

Each year since 2007, I've invited online friends to join
me on the beach near my house for some networking,
brainstorming, and setting up joint ventures.

I live within minutes of one of the most beautiful beaches
in the world, so I figured why not? This year, based upon
early feedback in private notes, and an informal interest
survey on Facebook, I anticipate maybe 250 attendees.

We meet at a local beachside restaurant, right on the beach.
The owners let us use the back patio, and we meet informally,
eat, and break into small groups inside and outside the
restaurants, and at any of a dozen pavillions and picnic
tables in the immediate vicinity.


The only cost involved is that each person pays for their own
meals, travel and lodging. We meet at 1pm Eastern and stay
until late in the evening.

Many people stay overnight and continue the networking the
next day (Sunday).

Some people bring the family and turn it into a vaction, staying
for a week or more!

Many split the cost of a room or even rent a condo.

I'm contemplating setting up a deepsea fishing trip for that
Sunday, but that would pull those people away from the main
crowd... but then again the official date for the event is
the day before anyway. So many people just stay for at least
two days.

Let me know if you would like more information since I like to
get an informal head-count. If we have enough people I may
also look into setting up some type of a meeting room to make
it a little more formal, but still put us right on the beach.

I'll post more information/links to hotels later as well
as driving directions, etc.

If you fly, the nearest airport is Ft. Walton Beach (VPS), which
is about 15 minutes from where we meet, and Pensacola (PNS), which
is about 30-45 minutes... depending upon traffic.

This is a lot of fun and the perfect environment to set up joint
ventures (working out all the details), or even creating quick
audio or video products (with a beach background) that you can
sell or use as bonuses with your other product launches.
