NEED HELP? Offer your feedback for new IM Bartering/Cooperative Website

Let's all get together to focus on success and support each others' efforts!

If there are already groups that work this way, please let me know and I will join them. Otherwise, we need to put this together and develop something that will benefit all of us.

I want to assemble a growing group of serious net-marketers who have experience to share, but who could also use assistance from others in order to become more successful.

This would be a free membership site that doesn't try to trick you into making somebody else rich or getting you to buy their affiliate products. We would pool our knowledge, resources and special talents to help others -- and in turn, others would help us.

To pay for assistance -- such as website evaluations, SEO improvement, better ad copy, traffic generation, link exchanges, whatever you need -- our members would provide positive comments, reviews, testimonials, etc., for other members' websites, info products, blogs, and so on.

What do you think about forming a group like this? Would you join it? I have uploaded a preliminary mock-up page to show you what I have in mind. Tell me how to improve it and how you would like it to work.

    Hi Tina. Yes, that's exactly what I had in mind.

    There is a tremendous need for the establishment of a membership site like this, and I would certainly appreciate any suggestions you might have to make it work.

    The whole thing would need to be carefully monitored and strict guidelines would need to be enforced. For instance, no running up Digg hits or other illegal activities. And an arbitrator would be necessary to resolve disputes among unhappy participants.

    I could do that stuff in the beginning, but once it builds to hundreds of members, I will need to hire employees to deal with it.

    Essentially, this will run like Elance.com, but no money would be exchanged. Instead, we are swapping services with each other.

    I wish something like this existed already, but I can't find it. So we must build it... and they will come.

    Thanks for seeing the value here. The IM ProBarter Net will be a great benefit for everyone who is struggling to survive in the MMO community.

    For anyone who is interested, let me know what sort of services you would like to see, and what you can offer in return -- article writing, info product reviews, testimonials, graphic design, webpage creation, SEO assistance, comments on your blogs/squidoo/hubpages, etc.

    I will organize everything and offer different categories so we can connect people with similar interests.

    Hello All,
    Exciting stuff here!
    Bartering is a wonderful thing and in reality is what the money system is all about. A dollar is a marker for goods or services performed.
    I would be interested in something like this and have been doing this often by chance.
    My specialty is bringing static content to life.
    I can program in my sleep but hate to create graphics and perform many of the tedious off site SEO tasks.
    Other skills are systems administration, writing, thinking through brick walls, and washing windows.
