How did WarriorForum Started?

Was WF started by just one man or a group of people? What was it like then? I'm really interested in creating and making money with forums, so I'm really looking up to big forums like WF, Digitalpoint etc. I'm not targeting the internet marketing niche though - too competitive for my liking. I prefer niches in agriculture, technology and alternative energy.

      Missy,

You're probably right. Thank you for "getting it."

Paul Myers View Profile: Paul Myers is probably the best person for providing an accurate history.

It was started by Allen Says View Profile: admin who started the forum and evolved it through multiple platform changes until he sold it to Freelancer.com earlier this year.

A good study for an agricultural forum would be http://www.permies.com which is the baby of Paul Wheaton. He recently leveraged the following he grew there to fund several very successful Kickstarter campaigns, which he in turn used to acquire a good-sized chunk of land in Montana where he is starting an intentional community based on permaculture principles.
