Hey guys, i am new to this market but i want to follow my passion, that is helping others achieve mindset that can make them millions.
This product is basically members area where i have given a step by step guide to have a mindset that can make you successful and you can live your dreams. i have all these different modules about positive thinking, success, law of attraction, self esteem. All modules having a action plan at the end.
What else should i put in? I really need some suggestions. And how to attract affiliates?

The idea of improving the mindset is a good start. People like to see results. Perhaps you could share how changing your mindset benefited your life in specific ways: ie. made you X dollars. In the IM niche, I imagine people would rather buy one module or a case study explaining how you can make them money, compared to 10 modules on how you can make them happy mentally.

To attract affiliates, you can submit your launch to be post on a bunch of free sites/Facebook pages like JVspy and muncheye.

From my own experience that I am currently learning, if you really want to attract affiliates, you need to give them a high EPC. You can have a front end offer which is your book, but on the back you want to also give them a percent of a higher priced product, and maybe even a down sell.

    Good luck!

I think the #1 most important thing you could do would be to show in step-by-step detail exactly how you have achieved a mindset and made millions yourself. Talk is cheap, but when you show how you have done it personally you will make this an awesome product!

Have lots of relatable personal stories, experiences and insights. Please don't write another cookie cutter principle of success book with platitudes everyone's been hearing since Think and Grow Rich was written. Most of your target markets hard drive is filled with them.

You'll have to come up with an approach we haven't seen before and your market has seen a lot. I'm sure you must realize you're starting at the deep end of the pool. You're competing with billionaires, millionaires, authors recommended by Oprah, T.V host psychologist, and Self-improvement Icons. Scared Yet?

If not, you'll have to go hard (and unique) or go home.

See, i can relate personal stories and stuff. But not a specific trait can make you millions but a combination of things help you achieve it.
I have added the Action plan at the end of each module but it would all go in vain if people wont be following it and they would be claiming refunds. How to deal with that?

It sounds to me like you're going to have too many different methods in your members area that will only serve to confuse your customers.

Similar to what Steve said... if you want to help others achieve a mindset that can make them millions... first show them proof that you have already made millions. Start here. And show proof. How do you expect people to have a radical change from employee to entrepreneur when the person teaching them how to do all of these things is still working a 9 to 5? I'm not saying or insinuating that you are working a job... i'm just telling you what they will be thinking.

In fact, it may even be in your best interest to show people on a LIVE counter on your site that shows the amount of sales/money that you're making each second(s) or minute(s). You have a ton of really good competition in this niche... you gotta think outside of the box if you want to succeed. You can make it work though. Just don't get mad at a possible low opt-in rate from your squeeze page.

I agree with the post that have been put here. How you can sell something, that hasn't given yourself results. If it has given you results you are at a great start.

Maybe create an affiliate campaign selling other peoples products. Make tons of cash marketing this, while building yourself an email list. Once you hit an amount of money that you are proud of, go back and start doing your project again, and your mindset might give you everything you need to finish the product.

You haven't addressed the issue about your own personal experience. That's going to be key to your success or failure. While you can add an action plan, if that plan has not yet worked for you and made you a millionaire, how can you honestly expect people to spend money joining your membership?

    So, let's get real.

Perhaps you love this niche a lot, but are still on the journey to realizing your own dreams. If that's the case, you need to approach this project from where you are right now, not where you wish you were. This is about credibility. Without credibility, you're wasting your time in this niche.

One way to be unique is to do an on-going case study that involves you, and maybe a few volunteers from the warrior forum. You could follow your own course materials for 90-days and do a written and/or video diary about what happens each day. Perhaps you could create a Skype group and follow each other's progress for 3 months. At the end, you'll have proof about what your self-improvement course can do. Put the results of this 90-day case study into a special report, e-course or ebook and offer it as a lead generator for your membership.

Alternatively, if the material you've gathered has already worked wonders in your life, use it as proof. You could build an email list by creating a free report that gives away some intriguing self-help tips You could then promote your membership to the list. Once people join your membership, you could promote the affiliate opportunity to members. Of course, you'd have to have it set up, which others can advise you on.

Anyway, I like that you're taking initiative and are genuinely into this niche.

I agree with what many people have said previously - HOWEVER - Alarm bells start to go off when you say that you are not where you want to be but you are selling a product that would help someone make millions??

Maybe you need to change the focus of your course and concentrate on the "be happy" part.

        Good luck with it

My philosophy is give away 80% of it for free. Help people to simply see them grow, show them the value you contribute. Then charging for the final 20% as customers are happy to pay more than they would originally. By creating value and proving it's beneficial, that creates authenticity which leads to die hard customers that advertising can't buy!

You should first try to establish a name for yourself and then try to partner with people in the same niche. If you are interested, add me to your skype: vaduvame and I could really help you a bit, being in the same niche.

Look it's obvious by reading between the lines that you have not made anywhere near "Millions" online so i would cut the BS and be honest with yourself and your potential clients...

What even qualifies you to teach others how to change their mindset?
Thats where i would start, people love to hear success stories, it gives them hope (however slim, that they too can make it).

So, unless you are a household name when it comes to self improvement, you need to show people what you did, how you changed your mindset etc...

You don't need to prove that you are a millionaire to succeed in this market.
It's a fact that many people make their "millions" teaching others how to make theirs.
Even "gurus" in internet forums can get away with not providing any proof of success.

I know there is a "correct" way to do business.
But let's not live in denial here.

Add your personality and creativity to your content. Like some of the others have mentioned, you want to set yourself apart from the competition. Use your own personal stories, insights, struggles, and successes, to help add that unique vibe to your product and make sure the information is top-notch.

It is not good to lie to your readers.

One of the main things that have made other Clickbank self help products so successful was how the product creator got to show a huge part of themselves and their failures and how they became the success they became.

You don't have to say that you can teach people how to make millions. Stop it with the big claims. If you're going to make a money claim, it should be very real and with you knowing others can do it, along with yourself

Create an affiliate page where your affiliates will get all the tools needed to promote your product. Also offer bonuses.

You can refer to popular Clickbank products to get an idea on how to create the affiliate page.

Many of today's top coaches and mentors started out by helping a small group (or even a few individuals) achieve success using their methods - and then using that "proof of concept" to scale up their training to a larger group.

It's an approach you might adopt profitably... using a system that really works. In the end, it's proving that it works which is difficult - and nothing is as effective as being able to point to a track record of accomplishments.

I've been in the self-help field for 15 years.

    A) It's extremely difficult to succeed there without name
    recognition.

    B) I created products but found it easier to sell the name
    brands as an affiliate.

    C) Your offer can be leveraged as a bonus for buying
    other people's known programs.

    D) The biggest sham going is the idea that affiliates
are going to show up to promote your product - sorry,
but they're not. Not unless you have something truly
    extraordinary to offer.

    E) Personal experience is a plus but Napoleon Hill
wasn't a millionaire - ever. You can report on what
works. It's best if you've done it but that's not a
    requirement.

In all honesty I think self-help/mindset is more
difficult than MMO. You can save yourself a lot of
struggle by leveraging what you have to sell what
people are actively seeking to buy.

Getting affiliates is pretty easy. Let's say you charge $30 per month, give the affiliate 50% ongoing (for life).

People can say whatever they want. Affiliates want money.

What else should be in it? Study your market, what is their biggest problem? Solve it and put it into the package.
Simple I know, but, it's what works.

What I have found works best when I do into "how to" markets with a product that is light on results is to FIRST teach it to a group of "students" where you can then validate that your system works, partially works (in which case you can tune it) or doesn't work (in which case you have learned something and need to go back to the starting point)

This approach helps you in several ways:

    1. Forces you to construct the product as step-by-step toward a measurable result. For example, if you created a course to improve happiness, to measure it, you need to put some thought into how people rate their happiness before and after your course and then take them on the journey

    2. Gives you total focus on your product - instead of jumping all over the place, including theory only, etc... you now have a very defined roadmap for your product that will help you stay focused and get it finished sooner

    3. You build "proof" into your model. By teaching you get to walk people through your product and are bound to get results at the end that you can then feed back into your marketing via testimonials, case studies, proof

    4. You get FAST and first-hand feedback. Not every course or product is A1 out of the box, by teaching first, you get instant feedback as to what is missing, what you need to focus on more, what is boring people and what OTHER pieces need to be taught

As to whether you charge for this initial teaching is up to you...I have done it both ways where I charged for coaching and then refine as I go or I have also done complimentary teaching (via weekly coaching calls) with the understanding that it is to "test" the system and with some expectation of feedback at the end

    Jeff
