Is it possible to outrank a authority with a Sqiud lens?

I have a Lens being created for a affiliate product.


But the authority site for my main keyword has over 16,000 links pointing back.

Are there any other ways to compete so I can get some sales?

Ron, I very much doubt you will outrank that authority site. Sorry.

However it still may be possible to get on the front page depending on the rest of the competition. If it's a good keyword you might still make sales from being on page 2 or 3 as well so don't give up.

Start by writing articles and submitting them to high quality article directories like ezinearticles with an anchored backlink to your lens.

Then look at other ways of getting backlinks - check the wso section for some great resources.

Do the work and you'll eventually improve your ranking and hopefully make some sales.

Ok, I figured as much.

There are other ways to market the lens other than show up on the 1st page of Google. I'll just have to be more creative.


What I'll probably do is focusing on ezine advertising and targeted article marketing.
