For the forum admins:

I can understand the need to have a timer on the PM message center to hold down on spamming of forum members, however, when I am responding to PMs sent to me, I do not see why I should have to wait between messages.

Isn't there some way that the forum software can differentiate between sending out replies and sending out first contacts? I mean, what happens if a warrior is getting 50 to 100 messages from a WSO? Is he expected to sit and spend all day on the forum waiting to answer the next PM? Who has that kind of time? I know I don't and I doubt the admins here have it either. Answering PMs is not spamming and so it needs to be treated differently.

I do hope that the Admins here will take this suggestion into serious consideration. I really do not have much bad to say here but this is one place that the forum needs work. I love this forum and I do want to see it improve. That is my two cents worth.

      Thanks there Big Mike but I cant afford to turn off the PMs right now because I have different ones helping me with projects and this is the best way to converse while maintaining some anonymity.

        Couldn't you set up a new email account with yahoo or gmail and make it as anonymous as you want?

          It's also a pain when you must wait between:

          * searching on a user's name for posts

          * reporting posts

          With the large number of spammers and one-liners on the forum lately, when I get on a roll and keep finding trolls, I hate to be forced to sit there and wait just because I'm fast on the keyboard and can find them quickly.

          I would say that I love this idea but I currently have about 30 gmail accounts right now and I have a hard enough time keeping up with them. Besides, I have yet to get a gmail account that did not eventually become a dumpsite for spam that I never signed up for. It just is not worth it to go through all that trouble anymore.
