Facebook target help!

Hi,

I am so confused with this Facebook target situation
I'm selling T shirt with this slogan: " I am pround of my Police father"

The potential customers wearing this tshirt have these criterias:
+ Girl (18 - 25 years old)
+ Living with a Police father

So, How can I target to daughters who are living with their Police dad?

Please help!
Thanks in advance,

I don't think there is any data points available in Facebook for what's your dad's occupation. As such I don't think there is a way to target based on this.

You may have to do some testing here.

I'm not too familiar with Teespring but you might just want to target men who are in the police force, they may just want to get a gift for their daughters.
Or, you can target females at your targeted age who are going thru the academy or in the force themselves. They may have a father who is already in the force.

Both of those seem like a long shot though, don't know if you'll hit your audience hard enough.

I'm interested in seeing other responses on this...

    Best of luck!

      Thanks for your ideas!
In fact, we can target to men who is already married and have children and they may have daughters, so the percentage is just 50% if they have son only
      See this picture

The pic above is from facebook sponsored ads
I see almost all the commentors are girls and they might have police dad
I think this Seller makes a direct target to girls
      Age: From 18 - 35
Parent status: sure, they are living with parents (this option is available in the FB ads creator) but unable to choose the job title for their parent

I would set the interests to "police officer" and "law enforcement". This doesn't mean they have to be law enforcement, it means they've expressed an interest or "liked" pages relating to it.

I went into one of my fb ad account and did the numbers, In the US, you have a potential to reach about 3 million people. If you set the criteria to just target women, it brings it down to 1.4 million.

I would create multiple ads targeting men and women and women only. You can also create one just to target men to try and purchase one specifically for their daughter. It might seem like a stretch, but narrowing down and playing specifically to one group tends to work out the best.

You can try to create your custom audience. Fb allows you to target any relationship status, including new parents and old parents. You should target people that work or liked a page relative to the niche you want to promote.

Ex: Target John, lives in Washington or near, 38-60 years old, married, has kids, liked or worked at a police department, spends online.

    I hope this helped.
