I discovered this a few days ago, it literally records visitors to your website in real time, so you can watch them browse over your site and see exactly what they look at and what they click on.

There are paid options but you can use the basic version for free!

Nice tool to play, I've used it, but after awhile got back to google. Watching every visitor sucks if you have 1000s every day.

There's another cool tool which shows you which parts of the page visitors focus on the most. You can set it to average over all your visits, very useful!

Cool tool - thanks for sharing.

I would say it should be used in moderation (especially if you have decent traffic) otherwise it could seduce you into wasting a lot of time spying on your visitors.

If anyone is doing any offline consulting, this tool is a must have.

When I showed my first client what people were actually doing when they visited their website, they were absolutely floored.

I install it on every client I haves website so I can keep track of what a small sample of people are doing.

But be warned, it can become addicting like several other people here have mentioned.
