How many products should you include in a new membership site

Hi all,

Would like some opinions please.

I have a monthly membership site I have developed. It has 3 levels of membership, 1 free and 2 paid.($17pm & $37pm)

Everything is complete except the uploading of products,Obviously these will be uploaded on a monthly basis. My question is how many products do you think I should upload for each membership before launching. I don't thing it is necessary to upload more for the paid membership as there are other benefits aside from the products.

Also if you were to join the site and you saw for example that you could access 20 products but out of these you see that 10 are only accessible right away and the other 10 required you to be a member for 1 month to access (to ensure you pay next month) do you think this is a good way to go. (I realise that if I show in advance what next months downloads are they need to be worthwhile products)

Or would you upload on a monthly basis without showing them whats coming?

There are monthly training modules with each membership which also encourages them to stay subscribed

    Showing what's coming sounds like a good plan. I have to say I have joined numerous membership sites in the past and the one thing that I get really depressed about is how they all have the same stuff on them. There is practically no difference in the products on offer. I suggest you really try to get at least some products that are totally unique to your site.

    Thanks for the reply, In regards to unique products yes I have some But the main attraction of the membership benefits will include training, live personal coaching and a few twists not seen in your average Membership Site

      If I signed up and was lead to believe there were 20 and found only 10 I would feel ripped off. But if you are not saying how many there are to start, and are saying hey, here are 10 that are great, but wait there's more, it just keeps getting better, stay and grow with us, then I have a reason to stay on like you say.
