What is your reasoning behind doing internet marketing?

Hey guys!

So I've been slowly going through different IM programs and I've noticed that some of them have a "Mindset" segment. They say that your reason for doing this has to be big enough to motivate you to keep at it and I totally agree!

The reason why I do internet marketing is because I don't want to follow the standard regime and go to work. I'd rather master this IM stuff and work 4 hours a week but rake in a 40 hour week pay!

    I want to buy my own island and do a bunch of awesome stuff to help the world with my money. I want people to live on my island, start our own society. I personally believe the world is messed up. A nice little island with things to do that aren't brainwashing you like technology and mainstream would be nice, I think. I also kinda want a plane and stuff to get around haha

    I think the more unrealistic your dream is, the more you'll strive to making it come true. That might not be the same with everyone, actually maybe not a lot of people.

    Anyways, my dreams require a lot of money and I don't want to be a slave and work at a job in America

    I was always a selfish person growing up. I now see how bad my ways were and decided to change my life. I now help people and i feel like a completely different person. Plus i get to make a living at home which is always a bonus

    And that's why only a small percentage make it online...
    Like you the majority think IM is easy with very little work required, unfortunately it's just like having a "real job" with the exception that you have to motivate yourself, have the inner drive to succeed...

    There's only one real reason I do it, and that's because I love it. I love that it gives me the freedom to live my life the way I want to, and support my family the way they deserve. I love being mobile and not being tied down. If I was so inclined, I could move my family to any country I wished, and not have to deal with the normal stresses that come with a normal employment.

    I think there's always something to be said for someone who doesn't follow the "status quo". So many people at desk jobs complain all week, waiting for Friday, and spend 5 out of 7 days of every week of their life, trying to end the day as fast as possible. Yet they would rather do this forever than think outside of the box a little bit.

    I do internet marketing because it allows me to get those 5 out of 7 days of my life back. Thus giving me my life back.

    A little deep for this thread, sure, but it's true

    Because of what drives me to do practically everything I do - the desire to add real value to people's lives and family. The online stuff is part of my business, but I do other stuff and work hard. I get to spend time with my kids and raise them, rather than passing them between afterschool care and babysitters, etc.
