PLR with Resell Rights?

Hey!

I've been looking around for sites that offer PLR with resell rights (as in I can pass on private label rights). I'm actually having a tough time finding any! Specifically I'm looking for health/weight loss/diet PLR.

The big thing is that I want it to be from a trusted site. I've seen way too many sites pull content from PLR stores and change the license. Heck, my store doesn't allow people to pass on any rights when buying my content yet I still found someone selling it as PLR in their membership. I don't want to be buying stuff from sites like that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Take the PLR, alter it to your own product by rewriting it and creating new graphics etc. sell your version with PLR.

      Hi Amanda,

I would think if you take a PLR product, significantly change it so that it becomes your own (as most smart people do), you should then be able to set your own conditions regarding its resale rights. Maybe that's a liberal interpretation on my part, but at some point every PLR product becomes unrecognizable and your own creation so you ought to be able to then set your own terms for what you do with it.

      The very best to you,

      Steve

While I'm sure I could do that, I consider it unethical to rewrite it and sell it with my own rights like that. Not everyone will share that opinion, but it's how I feel.

I know if someone went to my PLR store, bought my Tumblr PLR pack, rewrote it, and sold it on their PLR site I'd consider it unethical.

That's why I'm specifically looking for resell/unrestricted PLR.

I'd also like to not need to do too many edits anyways. I just want to be able to fact check, go over spelling/grammar, that kind of thing.

      Amanda,

If that's how you feel, I wouldn't try to convince you otherwise. In my mind, however, once you make a product your own, you can set the terms of its resale. If the PLR product carries no prohibitions against resale after significant changes, I think you are needlessly limiting yourself to what the owner never intended.

If this is what you intend to do, basically pass on PLR without major changes, then yes, you are right, you should find products that carry both PLR and MMR. My suggestion was only relevant when you make significant changes and the product becomes your own.

Most PLR simply says "may not pass on private label rights." I know most sellers intend that to mean "don't pass on private label rights even if you rewrite this."

This is all irrelevant if you don't plan to rewrite the PLR. My comments were only meant under the condition that you significantly change the PLR.

I would be interested in how you make money without adding value to the PLR? You buy a product and turn around and sell it with a few cosmetic changes. Why wouldn't someone just go to the same source you did for the original product? Do you care to share?

          Thanks, Steve

Generally I do rewrite my PLR if I'm using it on my websites. In this case I plan on including it as a bonus in my weight loss PLR membership I'm launching soon.

I'll be writing ebooks, reports, articles, and product reviews myself but was also planning on buying resell PLR as a bonus to my members.

          How do you know that?

PLR rights are often ambiguous, not recognized by any legal authority and often contradict each other in the same contract.

How can you infer what someone "meant" when it wasn't what they "said"?

            1. I'm a PLR seller and I'm connected with tons of other PLR sellers.

            2. There is nothing ambiguous about "cannot pass on private label rights." It simply means that no matter how you use the content you cannot pass on private label rights.

It is ambiguous as I interpret that as meaning you cannot pass on PLR to the product as is, I.e you cannot buy a PLR product then resell it with PLR unaltered.

Its the same when it says 'cannot give away for free' I take this as meaning the product as is but again if I alter it significantly and create a PDF (if its a document) then I can give away that altered PDF as it is then my bespoke product.

It is all down to how you interpret the licence.

When all else fails you can ask the provider. I can guarantee most PLR providers don't see it that way.

Tiffany Lambert has some nifty PLR with resell rights. She just released a Black Friday one today at https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/b.../spblkfrd.html .

Her site is PLR Articles By Tiffany Lambert: - hope that helps! She's been a ghostwriter for several top IM folk as well. (not all of the PLR at that site has resell rights, mind you, but there are some packs).

Amanda I would have suggested Resell-Rights-Weekly but you stated that you are already a member. What about idplr.com?
