Reality Check - Life/Business Without The Warrior Forum

Hey Warriors,

I personally make a good amount of sales from the Warrior Forum services (solo ads, outsourcing, JVs, signature, etc)

I'd say around 30% of my income

As a result, my monthly income would take a big hit if the WF would shut down tomorrow...

What about your business?

What percentage of your sales come from WF?

How would your life/business be without the Warrior Forum?

Let's make this interesting

Cheers,

C.G.

    It would go down yes.

But no point worrying about it. WF business has proven to be much more stable than Google and SEO over the last few years.

None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Not many, Benny. Nothing at all. Nada. Nix. Not a sausage. Bugger all.

Much more boring. I'd need to find some other equivalent to use as a regularly interspersed distraction, when I'm online for about 12 hours or more.

Not even a bit from your signature?

Nope. There's nothing for sale there; nothing promoted; no opt-in; no commercial content; no commercial intent at all. (Even the paintings aren't for sale.)

Yeah, Alexa makes no logical sense WF wise. She is completely un-monetized via IM.

I think I have it figured out though. She is surely employed by Clickbank and possesses blogs in many niches and loves to take on guest posters and/or WF employs her.

Other than that, it's all out of the goodness of her heart that she has posted a million times on WF.

          Nothing else makes sense.

Alexa Smith, "the ultimate warrior" has a nice ring to it yes?

She liked your post but didn't reply to dismiss it. I smell a conspiracy!

The warrior forum contributes 0% of any revenue I generate in my companies.

My life/business would be a little less entertaining without the Warrior Forum.

So pretty much same as Alexa

I make 100% of my income posting phony success stories on the WF, followed by WSOs promising to teach people how to make millions without any work or investment.

Usually I do this a day or so after posting a thread with a title like "I'm new to IM. How do I get started?"

HAHA. We see this particular scenario at least once a day

I do not make any I.M. money directly from the Warrior Forum but it would hurt indirectly. My web-designer I found here on the W.F.I have used multiple writers for different blogs that I have hired off the W.F. I have learned a lot of information from here and still learn daily from here. I would never heard of hubpages, squidoo, fiverr , etc. if it were not for the WF

I have purchased a few Wso's here from either a posters sig link or used old WSO's in the War Room. If this site would close down tomorrow, it would hurt an unkown amount of newbies that I might try in the future for various projects.

I would of never learned what a Amazon affiliate is, may never of used Ali Express, or Shopify if it were not for the W.F. I was able to make a few small deals from what I learned in the offline section and E-commerce section. The past few days I have been learning off the Copy Writing forum. My daily income does not come from here but the WF has taught me how to make money from other sources than the normal business I'm engaged in.

If it were to shut tomorrow I would miss this place. But I do not rely on it to make a living. There are a lot of great people here that post,- I would miss reading there daily replies. Just remember what one moderator warned along time ago. Don't build your entire business on the WF

I make some sales, that's all I'll say about that.

The Warrior forum is a combination of many things besides your average I.M forum.

It's like reading the Internet Marketer's version of the Wall Street Journal to keep up with the latest in-the-trenches activities of IM'er's (new and old).

It's like the equivalent of stopping by the neighborhood bar to talk shop with other people in the same industry.

It's like a soap opera that many like to tune into regularly to find out who said what - to who ... and about what.

I hear many people complain about its direction, but those same people keep returning, so that says something about its impact.

This is absolutely correct. If majority of your business it based on the WF you are trouble.

DO NOT KEEP ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET.

With that being said out of 50,000 unquies per month to a landing page here is how i like it to be split:

          WF: 15%
          FB Ads: 20%
          Media Buys: 35% (biggest income)
          Solo Ads: 10%
YouTube Natural Traffic: 25% (i would still say youtube is one of the most lucrative traffic sources out there. Some people i know generate close to 100k uniques per month on certain LP's using nothing but YT.)

Again folks, don't keep all your eggs in one basket

My income does not depend on Warrior forum - my income comes from long-standing clients and other projects that I am involved with.
Warrior forum is a place for me to learn and interact with like-minded people.

I really just started to use the site consistently two days ago. I have 2 sales from here, but I was not advertising. I guess, if I become a more consistent contributor here that may change. Most of my business comes from another site.

I can find plenty of other people to be exasperated with. And let's be real: the same six questions/threads and hilariously poor self-promotion would crop up somewhere else.

I was a freelancer and I used to work on oDesk. I had 4000 hours of online work career. I had 4.83 average feedback. I competed 100s of work as a freelancer with happy clients. Few years back when I went to my office I found a email for oDesk. It says my account will be closed. Why? Because my feedback it lower. It can not be a reason. I thought I am destroyed. My career was destroyed. I mailed over and over, again and again to fix it. I also tried to know why they are doing it to me. They just gave me their term and condition page URL so that I can check.

Well, I think I did not do anything wrong. I though it is going to be the end of my career. But it did not. I made another carrier as a IM professional.

I think I am much more comfortable to do my works instead of a freelancer. When I was a freelancer I was much more concern about asking money ( I could not bid higher as I will not get the job ). I did not have option to make things as my imagination. I did not have option to show my creativity. Clients was God and I was always afraid of bad feedback to I use to work harder and even I had to work for free to make them happy for minimum wage.

Now I make my own product and sell them online. I provide support for my clients. Nothing special and I found a good way for living.

Honestly WSO section made me think that I can make something that I can sell. I get 15% of my total sells from this forum. Most of my sells comes from organic search. As I did not want to have same fate like oDesk so I have several websites. I have done a lot of JV here and I think I will grow bigger in near future.

Wise people think about future, some people learn from their mistakes. I learned from my mistakes, I thought oDesk is my career but it was not. When people think they are done actually they are not. I did not want to lead a life to think about negative feedback. I wanted to have a friendly relationship with my clients so I build up my own empire where me and my clients think same way and respect each other.

If something really bad happen WF can be shut down, but believe me people here will make something similar or find something similar. So, do not afraid about it, just think about the future and work hard for it and surely you will be able to change your current situation.

P.S. I am not a English speaking people so I am sorry for my big answer where something may not correct in grammatically or spelling

    Thanks

I say about 5% of my total income coming from warriorforum through article writing. Majority of my income comes from my amazon, clickbank, and adsense sites and these are not advertised here.

    Warrioforum is stable though..

I can honestly say that all my income comes from warrior forum ... when I say this its the place where I learned everything I know and setup a semi successful offline marketing company generating leads for clients. With WF I have the confidence to take on any opportunities even without the full in house ability as its a great place to out source to and get amazing ideas and feedback.

Even those who make money without exposure from here can thank a great deal of their learning and understanding to this forum, and although they would have most probably still been successful without the forum the learning curve would have been steeper I imagine. the beauty is that those who dont make money directly from the forum offer some of the best advice because they learned so much from here and from others before them.

People may complain that the huge numbers of newbies to the market dilute the content of the forum somewhat to me the jury is still out on that I guess because on many aspects I am a newbie.

But yeah those of you who were sold by a guru or product and spent months in the dark before finding this place I am sure you know how much harder business is/was without this forum or more importantly the members on here,

I do get some income through the WF from people needing my services but it's certainly not the only place I advertise.
Being an active member helps people feel like they can trust me to do a good job and is also a form of reference as others can see my chats.

I also chat with people I know in here, share ideas, learn, teach, have fun and a lot more. The WF isn't merely one thing. It's a lot of things to a lot of people.

I joined originally because I wanted to be around other Internet marketers.

It's cold out there all alone.

But being a marketer I could not continually pass up the free traffic and easy income.

If the forum disappeared tomorrow my income would take a slight dip, but I too wonder what I would break things up with.

I get some of my best laughs here.
