Where can I get online work for a slave wage?

I would be ecstatic if I could earn $2 per hour, which could translate to 6 hours per day, $360 per month.

I've written a lot of articles of excellent quality, as well as all kinds of things in Excel. People seemed to be pleased with the quality, but the problem is that it's not a consistent workload.

Am I just fantasizing about being able to earn $360 per month, for 6-8 hours of work per day?
$360 per month would be ideal but even $200 per month would be amazing. Do you think I'm expecting too much?

I really have no idea what to try anymore, I'm not a US citizen so I can't use Mturk or similar services.

    Try oDesk.com.
That's where I get graphics jobs.
Make about $2000 a month sometimes more.

Which specific skills does "graphics job" entail?

Fiverr is another good one, l have done plenty of graphics jobs there for 4$ for about 2.5 hours work!

Although writing is another high demand slave labour gig option!

Probably explains why l am moving into download only gigs, much quicker, but less in demand!

This one might work for you if your English skills are reasonable; they don't require US citizenship:

(They do require that you follow their directions precisely.)

Can you tell where you are from? What country or at least what continent?

Central Europe, a country deep in socialist hell which will, by all accounts from foreign and domestic experts, go bankrupt within 2 years. Can you guess which one?

I actually consider English as my native language because I've been reading books and writing in English before I even finished high school.
Also had 3 Coursera courses on writing:
-Crafting an Effective Writer: Tools of the Trade, Mt. San Jacinto College
-Writing II: Rhetorical Composing, The Ohio State University
-English Composition I: Achieving Expertise, Duke University

I can think of 3, but none of them is exactly in Central Europe.
Anyway I am more interested in any other languages that you might speak besides English. Any Central European would do the trick. The smaller the number of native speakers the better. I might have an endless supply of work. Check PM if you are allowed to use it.

It varies with what you are doing but in general allow 2 hours for finding work for every hour you work--so if you want to make $2 per hour you need to charge $6 per hour.

oDesk is probably a good option. I've earned quite a bit from oDesk. But I've changed. To earn something substantial that will eventually lead to your financial independence, it would be better to start rethinking about your strategy. You may decide to start a business. The easiest business is affiliate marketing. You don't have to be living in the USA. You can do it from ANY location. The opportunities of this kind of business are numerous. You don't have to look far. You may start by promoting WSOs.

I've used mTurk from Amazon in the past. Made about $75 in a month just tinkering around doing surveys and random tasks.

Just depends on what economy you are living in and most people around here could not exist on $2.00 an hour.

Village I was born it's like $1 an hour or less and that kind of work is hard to find about 50% unemployment the government admits only 25% which is funny accounting they use. But few make $1 per hour. That is why I gave my comment that there are over a billion people that make less then $2 and hour I'm pretty sure that what people make in the west is not what most people on the planet make.

Just a small observation. The first guy I hired was in a village in Pakistan I paid $250 for a website, later I found out he made more working for me then on his regular job. Just saying..

Hit up Fiverr! You sound like you have various skills that you could offer...content creation (both text and video), translation, transcription etc..and then once you have some good feedback and can offer add-ons, you could make much, much more. As others have suggested, consider making your own site to create a longer-term stable income, but Fiverr is a great place to start. Good luck!
