Looking for place to start!!!

Hi,

First, I want to thank everyone on this forum as I have seen that there are people who are really helpful. I am trying to find a free course that teaches step by step Clickbank Affiliate marketing. There was a warrior "nicholasb" or Nick Breen who has a youtube channel and his method has been very helpful. I have tried to reach him without any luck. Are there any other marketers that would teach his method?

Back to the free courses, I have heard of ClickbankMasterMind.com. Is this a good course? I would really appreciate anyone who directs me in the way to a good free course. I know I want to get into specifically Clickbank Affliate marketing or Email Marketing if its the same thing, so if anyone can advise me, I would really appreciate it. Again, thanks for all your help.

Email marketing and affiliate marketing are definitely very different this.

If you want to get into affiliate marketing, sign up to Clickbank as an affiliate for free.

Once you have an account, start marketing.

If you want to get a good idea on what you must do in order to get affiliate sales, go ahead and type in the following into Google:

    "Make first Clickbank Affiliate sales"

I don't want you to go ahead and do something too difficult right now like building a list, setting up an email, or rhing to do something too complicated. It's easy to get information overload with this business. Choose a very basic model for now, make a couple of bucks, and reinvest that money and make even more in the future.

internetmarketer1 gave you great advice. There are many places online where you can learn about Internet Marketing. There are also many ways to promote. Learning a bit about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SMM (Social Media Marketing) may be helpful as well.

udemy.com has some great free internet marketing courses for newbies.

If you Google "free clickbank training course udemy" you'll find some.

        Cheers

I don't think this is very good advice at all. Most of the money (if not all, in most cases) is in the list, as it allows for you to build a relationship with your customers. The earlier you start building a list, the better off you'll be and the more money you'll be making. Most people's regrets with internet marketing is that they didn't build a list since day one.

Whether you find a free course or not, let me advice to you the basic. First you will need to have autoresponder to create follow ups while building your list.

Money is in the list whichever route you take in affiliate marketing on whatever niche you choose.

Having the skill to create a good landing page and email marketing strategies are a must when you are trying to promote affiliates.

Therefore giving value to your clients and knowing what products and your honest review of those products will increase the chances of your client in purchasing the your "recommended" affiliate.

Honestly, I don't think there's a course nor a coach who will offer their course for free if what you're looking for is as you say a 'good' one.

If you want good education, you got to invest in that knowledge.

Also, it might be important to remove your focus on just 'clickbank' and instead learn affiliate marketing as a whole without worrying about the platform.

Sorry, but no. InternetMarketer1 has given you really, REALLY bad, HORRIBLE advice.

He's right about staying focused. But beyond that, he's really wrong about everything else.

E-mail marketing and affiliate marketing are not two different things. People here often talk about e-mail marketing as if it's a different business model in and of itself. But it's not. It's a fundamental online marketing activity for ANY business.

    1. Pick a business model: do you want to sell physical products or digital/virtual products?

    2. Do you want to sell your own products or someone else's products as an affiliate?

BIG, BOLD, IMPORTANT POINT: No matter what you're selling though, 99% of everyone who comes to your site will leave without buying anything. And they'll never, ever come back.

So it doesn't matter whether you're using free traffic, paid traffic, or referral traffic from affiliate partners. If you're not building a list, you're wasting your time, money and efforts.

THAT'S why why building a list is SO important. If you're not capturing names and e-mail addresses, you're starting over each day to get traffic and sell stuff.

This is NOT something you leave until "later." Do it from Day 1!

Which leads to the next point:

BIG, BOLD, IMPORTANT POINT: Most people don't buy the first time they see/hear about you or your products/services.

Several years ago, the Direct Marketing Association did a study and found that most people buy ONLY after hearing/seeing a product/service 7-9 times.

People need to get to know you, like you and trust you before they'll take a chance and buy from you.

THAT is why repetition and relationship-building is so crucial. And THAT is why you need to build a list and be talking to your list regularly, every single week.

This is why you see the same ads on TV over and over and over again, ad nauseum. They know you need to see/hear from them repeatedly before you MIGHT buy from them.

The specific how-tos of online marketing are unique to online marketing. But basic marketing fundamentals don't change, no matter who you're selling or what medium (TV, radio, direct mail or the Internet) you're using:

    1. Get qualified, interested prospects to raise their hand and say "Yes, I'm interested."

This means getting them to opt in in exchange for something of value to them. Prospects who have identified themselves as interested are FAR more likely to buy what you're selling than just blasting your marketing at untargeted, unqualified people who have absolutely no interest in what you offer.

    2. Follow up!

This is where you give what you promised and continue to follow up. This is where e-mail marketing and e-mail newsletters come into play.

Offline, this is done through direct mail, follow up calls/meetings, repeat ads, etc.

Buying is not a one-time event. It's a PROCESS/CYCLE. Some people are just starting to look for what you offer, but aren't ready to buy yet. Some people are comparing different vendors/providers. Some people are ready to buy now.

But those who are ready to buy NOW are the fewest.

Follow up is crucial for ANY type of business. If you refuse to follow up, you'll be lucky to stay in business. Online, this is done via e-mail.

    3. Close the sale.

Make an offer. And continue to follow up and make offers

Stop relying on random advice from strangers on a message board and buy at least one, comprehensive, in-depth course which covers online marketing from A-Z.

Check out Jeff Walker's "Product Launch Formula". Check out Dan Kennedy's "Magnetic Marketing".

Otherwise, if you rely on advice like that from InternetMarketer1, you get what you deserve.

Harsh? Yes. But very, very true.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey dude,

The first thing I noticed about your topic here, is that you use the word "free" alot.

I am going to read between the lines here, and say that your goal here it to make money with clickbank....right?

Ok, then get into the right mindset first of all. Learning this internet marketing thing takes a while and there is so much information that it can be overwhelming. You must read alot and learn as much as you can about all there is to this IM world and looking through this forum is free and a great place to start.

This has worked really good for me at the beginning, in terms of learning how clickbank works and how to make money with it. But getting a free course, well you need to change the way you think.

But then again, this stuff isn't rocket science.

First, set up a blog that is in one of the big 3 niches, health, money, relationships.
Then drill down any one of those niches to a more specific target audience.
For example, the health niche, weight loss, then weight loss for women, then weight loss for women who just gave birth, etc.

You see, that is drilled down to only women, who were pregnant, and who gave birth, and now want to lose weight. Then tailor your blog to talk about how you can solve their problem. Then put your affiliate link (Clickbank) at the end of the article.

I would suggest becoming versed in Affiliate marketing before you tackle clickbank. I will pay to have a good understanding of AM and you will also find that clickbank is not the only source for product. Also, once you have a good understanding of AM you may be interested in creating your own product. Good luck

I don't want you to go ahead and do something too difficult right now like building a list, setting up an email,
List building/email marketing should be the very first thing you learn.

Also, learning to separate the good advice from the nonsense is a very important skill to develop.
