is there a way to report a user on freelancer?

i put the price in the post and people are still bidding more than what i posted

    You can't really report people for being stupid. But I am sure if you use their helpdesk, you could.

    Maybe your job require more time and/or skills than your expectation so they bid more?

    Anyway, Elance has this "hide" feature to ignore unwanted proposals, not sure if Freelancer has something similar.

    Right. Well, this happens all the time. The last time I've posted a request for a voice-over, I've wrote clearly in the project specs that I'm not paying more than $350 and that I'm looking for a native English speaker.

    I've got proposals from $50 to $1500 and half were from India.

    I assume that Freelancer has the ability to accept or reject proposals. If they're idiots, reject them. The problem could be the job as well. Post a job for peanuts that's worth more money and they may just submit a proposal for the minimum that they would work for. I wouldn't bother, but some might.
