INTERNET MARKETING

Hello, I have a rebate/coupon website and I would like marketing advice on getting conversions. I have over 750 online stores and 1000's of coupons but I am trying to figure out where to start. I have tried google adwords but it was a waste of money. I was considering a press release from prweb but I wanted to do something special enough with my website to make it news worthy enough for journalist to write about. I thought of maybe having an iphone/android app so people can get the saving at their fingertips being that my website is a tool for online savings. What do you think will be the most effective way to market my type of website effectively with conversions? Where do I start? Thank you

Fill your site with reviews and how-to articles that are relatable to your coupons. Do you have a blog page on that site? I didn't see one.

I think it does not matter. There are well established sites with HUGE ad budgets and teams of people working on them. I give your site about a 0.002% chance of ever getting popular. Sorry for the cold hard truth, but that's what it is.

I think you should switch niches. And sell something super simpler for a good nice price. Do you have staff... or is it just YOU running the website? You have no idea the ad revenue you need to promote this stuff, plus the time needed for free marketing. It's hard to reach people directly with a site like your's because there are so many products and options.

How will you market them all in one day? A single press release from PRWEB wouldn't do much help if you're leading a group of people to a site that doesn't have exactly (or something close) to what they're looking for. Think i'm lying? Why do you think Google Adwords didn't work for you?
