what are your expectations from a coach you hired?

I have a question. I'm setting up a new coaching service on my website and I wanted to know what are the things you would want your coach to do for you if/when you hire/hired them?

if you have bought coaching in the past what did they offer you for the price you paid?

Try to understand me first. Your my coach to help me. So do that and help me. Sometimes I will know how most of the time I don't!

That's what goes through my mind whenever I have to offer coaching to anyone. How can I help them? Do I even know if they know they really need help? Questions like that will get you further into your prospect mind and help your marketing in turn.

do you price your service based on time or value?
like do you charge a certain price per hour or do you charge based on the individual result you're trying to give to that customer

I agree, priority is to deliver what you have promised to your client. I took on a full time IM coach and i paid $2000. I am happy because the course has exceeded my expectations and over delivered.

I have had one amazing experience with an IM coach and one terrible. The main thing for me was that you LISTEN to your coaching clients and actually answer their questions as thoroughly as you can.

My first coach (the bad experience) seriously must have never read my emails. Actually, we Skyped a few times and she never even listened to anything I said. I'd ask a direct question that required a quantifiable answer like '3' or 'Google' or 'yes,' and she'd respond with some nonsense like, "Just keep posting on Facebook and thinking positive and you'll succeed." Great. Thanks lady. Too bad I just asked you what the name of the email service you use is. So that was a total bust.

My second coach (the good experience) honestly hasn't offered me any information that is revolutionary or cutting edge or beyond what I would expect, but he ANSWERS me. He gives me constructive criticism on the work I've completed, tells me when something's a bad idea, helps me figure out the tech stuff I get stuck on. I was at one point asking 10 emails worth of questions a day, and he answered them all... once by video on YouTube because he really cared that I understood the tech part I was having an issue with.

So for me, all that really matters is that you CARE enough about your students to offer them real, genuine help that answers their questions. Doesn't need to be magic solutions, just answers.
