5 "Big Thinking" Questions To Ask Yourself!

Hey Warriors,

Fabian Tan, a marketer who I look up to, had a post recently about whether you expect every article to make a sale for you.

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...y-article.html

His basic point is to think big. I love thinking big and it's good for others to do the same from time to time! So here are some things to ponder about your business. Hopefully they will inspire you to comb through and improve your online biz!

1. What would happen to you if you could make 1 penny off every person on the planet?

2. What if you had 100 hours a day to improve your business?

3. What if Google gave you 1,000,000 free clicks?

4. What if search engines didn't exist anymore?

5. What would happen to your income if you lost your computer for a year?

These questions are purposely crazy, far flung, and arguably ridiculous...but they represent extreme examples of common problems (size of your list, lack of time, low ad budgets, relying on one traffic source, not having systematic income)

What do these questions make you think about?

Cheers,

Brad Spencer

    Hi Brad,

    1. Wow, I'll go crazy about where to keep that money.

    2. The person who made the clock will get scolding.

    3. Than we intend to earn as much as they click.

    4. If no search engines than how to get 1,000,000 free clicks?

    5. I will not wait till a year, I will get a new 1 right away.

    1. I'm no good at the maths. What's 6,500,000,000 X .01?

    2. I'd probably die because it would mean I was suddenly transported to a different planet with a 100-hour day. Chances are, the atmosphere would be inhospitable to homo sapiens.

    3. Two words: Ebay auction

    4. I tried real hard, but my mind simply would not accept such blasphemy.

    5. It would become "outgo" in a hurry.

I know, I know... don't quit my day job.

      Interesting responses...

I guess I was being a bit more serious than what you guys thought I was being

My point in asking those questions was to analyze your business and see if those situations made you think of weaknesses or bottlenecks in your processes.

      Hmm...

        Brad...

I don't think you're getting many serious answers because, frankly,
the questions aren't something I see as serious inquiry.

I don't mean that to be as harsh as it sounds but let's think about
        it for a moment.

You say the point is to motivate people to analyze their business.
Okay... I've been in business a long time and have down a ton of
        analysis through the years...

But, I don't find it useful to dwell on the possibility of something
that has a less than probable chance of happening.

        1. Rather than dwelling on what would happen if I could make a
penny from every person on the planet I choose to analyze my target
market on a regular basis to determine how I can: a) increase my
reach to find more potential buyers within the target, b) increase the
average amount each buyer spends and, c) increase the frequency
        with which they buy.

        2. I don't have 100 hours in each day and never will have... so... rather
than focusing on a situation that can never exist I choose to analyze my
processes to discover where I can multiply my efforts through increased
        efficiency.

        3. Google is never going to give me 1,000,000 free clicks so why bother
tring to figure out what to do with them? Instead, as with my response to
#2, I focus on analyzing the things I do to attract relevant traffic in an effort
to attract it in greater numbers.

        4. I would continue to do what actually brings more traffic to my sites
than anything else... offline direct mail. Very few of my online offerings
have ever depended on search engine traffic.

        5. I'd use someone else's computer.
