So I started using 1SHopping Cart at the end of this week and I like the service, but they SUCK for conversions. Anyone else notice this? I know there are tweaks you can do, but I would love to know who else experiences problems with high abandonment rates? I'm talking 50-70% abandonment rates! In the last couple of days alone I've lost about 10 sales (10 x people have created carts and then left without paying!). Any help or light you can shed on this would be much appreciated. I know that it will never be 100% cart conversion as people will just click the order links from curiosity, but my price is well displayed and there's no funny business going on... ...so what the heck? I can't believe this is "the norm" for shopping carts, I'd love to know how this can be avoided/minimalized! Any advice much appreciated. |

I don't think there is anything you can do about it. It makes me feel fuzzy sometimes to think about using cart. And I though I am the only one who is having bad experience about it.

Nick - are you telling your visitors what the price is for the product in the salesletter? Or do they need to find about about it by going to the cart? |
