Promoting an Affiliate Store on Clickbank? Can it be done

Is it possibly to promote an affiliate website on Clickbank? For example I have a website that promotes products in which I get an affiliate commission for and I decide to promote it on Clickbank in order to get affiliates to sign up for it and promote it. Every time they get some one to buy something from the site I give the affiliate a commission for the product they sold. Any thoughts

What is the product you would be selling on Clickbank?
    What would your price/salespage be?
How does someone get a refund in the Clickbank required 60 days?
    How does Clickbank make money?
How do Clickbank affiliates make money promoting your Clickbank offer?

You need to explain more how your Clickbank product would work.

It doesn't sound like you have a viable Clickbank product. It sounds like you just want to split commissions with people in exchange for traffic.

My product is sports memorabilia. I am affiliated with two companies in shareasale. I want to promote the site thru clickbank to attract affiliates. They send me traffic and conversions I give them commissions.

I meant what is your Clickbank product.

Clickbank has to review and approve your product for listing.

It still sounds like you just want Clickbank affiliates to send you traffic in exchange for a share of your affiliate commissions.

But I might not be understanding you correctly.

Yes you are correct. I am an affiliate I want other affiliates to promote my site with the aff links in it. Once they get some one to buy the products i'll pay them a piece of my commission. Sports collectibles are expensive.

I don't think you can do that through Clickbank. Clickbank is more a digital wholesaler who handles the sales transaction for digital products.

Better options would be: Social media promoting individual products as well as the site. A YouTube video walking through the site and product reviews. Paid traffic.

Why would any decent affiliate want to promote your affiliate site
and take part of the commissions? Why wouldn't they just sign up
as affiliates and take the whole commission?

No... you can't do what you propose through CB. You have to be
    selling your own product.

You seem to be under a misconception that Clickbank is an affiliate network or payment processor.

Under the Clickbank model, they are the seller of record. They "buy" products and services and "resell" them using their merchant account. They take their fee as a percentage of the sale and distribute the rest to the product owner and affiliates.

Under your proposal, there is nothing there for them to take a fee from, as the commissions are paid to you from your Shareasale vendors. There's no benefit to Clickbank from helping you find affiliates.

Did you come up with this on your own, or is there some kind of lamebrain arbitrage course making the rounds (no offense intended)?

Why is is that people think if they can just get their website on Click Bank that thousands of affiliates will send them millions of visitors making them billions of dollars?

Do people honestly believe that is how it works?

I suspect that some have bought "guidebooks"/"coaching", of whatever kind, whose sales representations (even if not the products/services themselves) have heavily implied that.

      Some, I'm afraid.

This thread, however, was mostly based on a simple misunderstanding (explained by John, above) and lack of appreciation that ClickBank is itself a retailer.
